The Army approved Fields to remain in his cavalry unit after he passed his physical fitness test with flying colors, including running 2 miles in 14 minutes, 9 seconds with a prosthetic leg.That would be three miles in 21 minutes or faster then my fastest time ever.... I'm impressed.

How cool is that, huh. Coincidentily, just yesterday Carl Brashear died age 75 and today we have his inspirational replacement.
For those unfamiliar with Carl Brashear, the movie "Men of Honor" starring Cuba Gooding jr and Robert DeNiro, Carl's fight to return to active dive duty striving to attain Master Diver after a shipboard accident left him with one leg amputated.
