The majority of people cheering on the Swifties were ALREADY going to vote for Bush.
The Swifties took Kerry off his game plan ( he was going to use his phoney Vietnam background as a launching pad or did you forget about the Democrat Convention and his reporting for duty BS and his Band of Brothers BS ) and made him hide out from the media
Bush started to do well in the polls and the Kerry campaign was in disarray and his people demoralized until Bush's pathetic showing in the First Debate ( or did you forget about that to ). That breathed new life into the Kerry campaigners and they united and worked like hell . Bush had that election sewed up until he damn near blew it
He ain't a leader
We are in a WAR and he ought to be communicating with the people on at least a monthly basis with speeches etc etc
If it wasn't for the REAL conservatives dumping on him we would have had that Harriet Myers on the court

Bush wins by 3.5 million votes I don't know who's ass you trying to pump sunshine up, but I seem to recall that Kerry came within 160,000 votes of winning Ohio and thus the presidency. It's the electoral college, not the popular vote that determines victory. If you want popular vote to count, you end up with Gore.

And Bush came within 160,000 votes of winning 5 additional states which would have rendered Ohio moot.

Oh please. Of course we have an electoral college. And thank God for that.
Kerry won by less than that in Pennsylvania and Minnesota and Michigan.
Kerry cheated his way to winning Wisconsin by 11,000 votes, with Milwaukee having more votes than registered voters.
But I'm sure you'll be suprised when the MSM reports the "suprise" showing of the GOP in this years midterms.
