I don't understand how this would work. Just eating marijuana will have very little effect. The THC needs heat. The stomach is not able to properly break it down. Unless there is something special about the gum, or the marijuana is specially prepared, this is a waste of marijuana.

If this is true...How do they make the brownies and such?
I thought all drugs could be ingested but with more limited effects.
If you are trying to hide hard drugs from a cop and swallow them, you can easily die of OD should the bag open.

Did you eat them raw? Or were they cooked? If they were cooked, then the heat released the THC.

I believe the heat produced when cooking the brownies releases the THC needed for a buzz.

At least, that's what I've heard... yeah, that's the ticket.

You have to saute the weed in butter first, in order to render the THC into the fat of the butter. Then you use that butter in the brownies.

Don't ask me how I know this.

Yes, I have had hash brownies and about every other kind of edible THC. They are all cooked and most contain oil to further breakdown the THC.

But if you just reach into a bag of weed and eat a big sticky bud you are wasting weed as it will have very little effect.
