Although I am a lawyer, I am less concerned as to whether or not it is "legal," than whether or not it is wise and just and necessary. I do however favor a buffer zone.
It is more then just, wise and necessary. And so far insufficient.
Ask yourself two simple questions. Why does Hezbolla exist and why do they have the weapons they have.
For defense?
I appreciate that Hezbollah is a criminal gang intent on the destruction of Israel. I have no problem Israel attempting to destroy them within the parameters I outlined.
As you mentioned above, you're a lawyer. And you have already dismissed the legalities.
Maybe outlining the parameters and war necessity requires some other competence.
