I strongly suspect that science will find a lot more than just His fingerprints ... DNA in each cell may actually be generating a holographic information set such that higher dimensional beings are constructed from stuff He made after He created space and time. Think of how many cells there are in the adult human body. Each one of those trillions of cells is generating an elecromagnetic signla because of it's voltage (though very small in a single cell). Takn together, the human body is a rather powerful electromagneyic potential when compared to that needed to generate computer programs and run them on a laptop. De Broglie showed that every human being has a quantum wave function definition ... and now Physics is zeroing in on the other dimensions (in brane theory and string theory) not easily perceived in our spacetime. God creates, but He also makes amazing stuff using His creations.

From what I am given to understand, there are also areas at the end of the chomosomes that don't lend themselves to sequencing using the current technology. Therefore, we are likely to be missing part of the picture from there as well. I'm sure that biochemists will some day devise a method for sequencing the currently un-sequencable sections of the genome, and another mystery will be solved.

It's a shame that people feel so threatened by science's capacity to solve mysteries that they feel the need to smear people and make up insulting rhymes. The mysteries that science can't solve involve questions of faith and purpose in life. For questions involving mechanisms of the physical world science is an excellent tool for investigation, but no one claims science has all the answers. No one except the mudslingers in these threads, maybe.

Eukaryotic genomes are packaged into nucleosome particles, which occlude their DNA from interaction with most DNA binding proteins. Nucleosomes have higher affinity for particular DNA sequences, reflecting the sequences' ability to sharply bend, as required by the nucleosome structure. However, whether these sequence preferences have a significant influence on nucleosome positions in vivo, and thus regulate the access of other proteins to DNA is not known. Here, we isolated nucleosome-bound sequences at high resolution from yeast, and used these sequences in a novel computational approach to construct and experimentally validate a nucleosome-DNA interaction model, and to predict the genome-wide organization of nucleosomes. Our results demonstrate that genomes encode an intrinsic nucleosome organization, and that this intrinsic organization itself can explain ~50% of the in vivo nucleosome positions. This nucleosome positioning code facilitates many specific chromosome functions, including transcription factor binding, transcription initiation, and even remodeling of the nucleosomes themselves.
