Has that already been posted as a separate topic?
I noticed that gas has dropped twenty cents in L.A. still 3.17, but noticeable.
Don't know, but it might be a great idea!

So far he's all bluster and bluff. We shall see if he walks the talk.
Ethanol is keeping prices a bit higher, but just as what happened in the 90's, when prices fall, TONS of new taxes will be added, since folks are already "used" to paying more....
Just specualation on my part, but history can be a guide.....
"You couldn't tell that by the prices being paid though."
The element of speculation...
heard someone talking about taking the hedge funds, mutual funds and all of the other speculators out of the market to remove the crazy volatility... The guy was on Cavuto's Friday program. Got me thinking....
The price of ethanol at one of the stations in my area is up 10 cents over non-ethanol.
whew! great news!
"When it collapses, prices will drop like a stone, sending speculators into a selling panic, driving prices even lower....
(Just in time for the 08' elections???)"
That would be cool.
Karl Rove you magnificent bastard!
Doesn't that imply that people aren't buying at the prices being asked?
The Saudi king is an idiot. When she met with him last time, as soon as she left they all started cracking jokes, etc.
This is just about making the appearances that the US cares.....we want Hezbollah to be eliminated, better the Israelis do it than the US.
A hurricane...in Iran....that'd be a first....tell Rove to dust of the hurricane machine...

Real deal or false alarm? I thought Hizbullah hadn't been firing too many rockets at night. Any word on how many rockets were fired today
Gas here in my town in Il is $2.98....it's been that for a week now.
The reason for any high inventories is, the ME is going to get worse, and crude prices will rise even higher. No point in high prices if you don't have product. It's a good thing that there are piles of it already stockpiled, because we'll obviously need it later.
divide and conquer
