Well, if their lease says "rent-free in perpetuity", then the landlord would have to buy them out.

Liberals demanding "Brokeback Boy Scouts" everywhere..... this is insanity and depravity....... what sane parent would allow their boys to join a youth organization which is required to allow pedophiles into its leadership? What sane society allows this kind of crap to continue?

Gen 13:13 But the men of Sodom [were] wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.
Gen 19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing [them] rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
Gen 19:2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
Gen 19:3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
Gen 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, [even] the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
Gen 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where [are] the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
We all know how this story ends.....
Guess Phillie's lot (forgive the pun) may one day be that of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Somebody should sue the city of Phili for discrimination based on religion. That is actually more in line with what the founders meant by "Freedom of Religion".

since 1928, when the city council voted to allow the Scouts to use the property rent-free "in perpetuity." has "perpetuity" ended?
legal binding contract?
My oldest son got up to Life Scout and well on his way to Eagle - got a new Scout Master - had to bail out of of a moving car to avoid being molested...couldn't 'prove' anything, so pervert allowed to keep position...son quit.
Several years later, and how many ? molested boys, he made the headlines when neighbors called cops about a fight in house next door - where the perp had a young boy cornered.
Heavens, let's not discriminate!
(Discriminate: intransitive verb; to pay attention to subtle differences and exercise judgment and taste...")
Where's the crime?

"in perpetuity" must mean something different in Philadelphia.

Notice that the radical gays use the threat to hurt the children when it comes to advancing their agenda. And who gets hurt worst, poor and minorities. The rich really don't need the Boy Scouts as much.
If gay people are looking for acceptance, this is not the way to go about it. It's ALL negative and NO positives.

This is so wrong. How can the city council renege on an agreement since 1928 that permits the Boy Scouts to use the 1/2 acre "in perpetuity"? Given the plight of the 40,000 kids, How do they have the testicles to kowtow to the queer community? GGGGGrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

"unless it changes its policy on gays"There's no agenda here, move along....
The accommodation of the faggot's extortion is beyond hope....Every deviate/criminal/social government-dependent loser in this country gets favorable treatment under the guise of the "equal protection clause" by Activist Judges and Liberal lawmakers. Heterosexual white males have become a Minority, but will NEVER be afforded the same treatment as special interests....
To: Sub-Driver
The Boy Scouts should find out who else is in that building under what terms and file a discrimination suit.

Judges have ruled the gov't does have to keep its word. People have donated land and buildings for a specified use with the provision the donated property be returned if the use is changed and the gov't laughs at them. A woman donated a farm for a nature preserve here in Indiana and the state sold the land to "fund education about nature at other sites".
