Whoo hoo!
This may take a while. Since there's no Soviet Union to step in, the Israelis can take their time and do it right. My hope is that Syria ends up being a casualty of this war, but Israel does not want to deal with them just yet. One thing at a time.
They ought to save the money and just dig a large hole in the ground...
If true, I certainly hope Israel permits the captured jihadists to read the Koran, gives them the right kind of food and doesn't injure them in any way. /sarcasm
Maybe the company that supplies the lemon chicken to gitmo can get the contract to supply this place.
There shouldn't be any captives.
My spidey sense says a lot is going on under the radar.
(a) why mass all those troops on the border for days losing any element of surprise?
(b) why have the Palis pulled off? http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3279758,00.html
(c) Why is the international yelping so muted?
Has the Arab world threatened to cut off aid to Palestine if they don't cease? Have they agreed to force a return of the kidnapped soldiers and a 20 mile buffer zone in Lebanon?
Think/..If you were Egypt and Saudi Arabaia and Jordan, what better way to defand Iran and Syria.
save even more and have the hezbollai to dig that hole.
Nix with the prisoners! They have to feed/house them and then are threatened with more attacks unless they release the cut throats. Kill them all and let God sort them out.
Once again--without typos--
My spidey sense says a lot is going on under the radar.

Yes, that is the ticket.
The Palis haven't pulled off, if you read their statement carefully you will see they say that they don't think anyone of their groups will honor the cease fire. It isn't pulling off if you don't actually quit firing missles.
The guy in charge of any prison like that should be a hog farmer and, since it is probably hard to find a hog farmer in Israel, we should offer to supply a couple. Hezbuillies being thrown into such a slammer should be made to understand that they need to learn the language, i.e. "Oink oink oink oink oink oink........."
There is no element of surprise in any sort of a large operation like that. German troops had been massed on the Russian border in gigantic numbers prior to Barbarosa.
All of your conjecturing requires the assumption that these people are sensible...
How about building it on an abandoned pig farm?
True--but as places like Qatar and Kuwait and the UAE move on,(and the Taliban and Saddam were overrun and Libya folded) perhaps sense has come to the region. After all they do play chess. A more intensive war will hurt everyone but the Arabs' biggest enemies and threats--Syria and Iran.
