Spiff, do you have this link handy? You know, the one that had all of forty responses or so because it was inconvenient for those attacking Simcox?

Just pretend FR is Hawaii and some of the gas station owners are simply posting "Joe Smith's cash is no good here-see bounced check."
You can't blame people who have been burned by these very same players before for showing interest in their latest burn, especially when you're talking about $1.6 million dollars that the REAL Minutemen haven't seen dime one of.

Your #54 is proof that you're not interested in whether he puts up cattle fence or any kind of fence. You're simply looking for any chance to attack him. Your logic deficit is astounding.

You have absolutely no clue about the hoops that 501c organizations have to jump through, or the vast quantities of time and money it takes to meet reporting obligations to the FEC.
The wealthy politicians that the rules were set up to protect have huge amounts of resources to deal with them.
But grassroots startup organizations don't.
There is nothing unusual at all about the amount of time Simcox is taking to come into compliance.
Some organizations take years to wade through this stuff.

Just pretend FR is Hawaii and some of the gas station owners are simply posting "Joe Smith's cash is no good here-see bounced check." Just pretend that much of this is similar to the vile attacks JimRob has suffered over the years from the malcontent ex-Freepers.
You can't blame people who have been burned by these very same players before for showing interest in their latest burn, especially when you're talking about $1.6 million dollars that the REAL Minutemen haven't seen dime one of.
And how often has JimRob been accused of skimming money and defrauding conservatives by those either with an axe to grind or those trying to sabotage the political effetiveness of FR?
I've said it elsewhere - Simcox cannot slide past November 15th, or else his critics will be the least of his problems. He also needs to get a lot of miles of fence or wall built once the weather cools off a bit, which is a similar timeframe. But those attacking Simcox are doing so for mostly political reasons, although some are also doing it for a vendetta of getting kicked out of the organizations, just like many anti-freepers do. Or just out of petty jealousy of what the attention that Simcox gets.

And all of those people questioning Jim about where he spends the money they send him aren't AFers, are they? Some are still here posting and financially supporting the site.

And all of those people questioning Jim about where he spends the money they send him aren't AFers, are they? Some are still here posting and financially supporting the site.A lot of people defending Simcox from these attacks have also told him he needs to produce financials by November 15th and cannot slide again. And needs to get some fence built.
However, the shrill, repetitive tenor of many of the attacks against Simcox are quite similar to the attacks JimRob has suffered over the years. And for the exact same purpose - the attacks are opportunistic, not principled.

And many of the Minutemen quoted in this spate of articles are still standing right alongside Chris Simcox. I think you'll find out that many of them were misquoted, or had their comments taken completely out of context, by reporters looking for salable copy.

All he would have to do, is to read FR; for starters. :-)

Here is the link:
County decides it cannot block Minuteman fence
Note the date - two days ago. Also, note this:
Andersons ruling can now be appealed within 30 days to the District 2 Board of Adjustments by any aggrieved member of the public.
So this could well get stalled by legal action for a few more months.

Maybe ya'll can explain this. It appears that Simcox's original group "Civil Homeland Defence Corp" was shut down in Arizona for failure to file an anual report. Sounds like he has real problems when it comes to filing these reports
Civil Homeland Defense Corp. Dissolved by the state of Arizona in February 2005 for failure to file their annual report.

Maybe ya'll can explain this. Just a stab in the dark. Simcox forms new Corp called MMCDC and allows old Corp, CHDC, to be dissolved.

Like I said. If Simcox doesn't meet the November 15th deadline, his critics will be the least of his problems. And now he's using professional groups, and THEY need to comply as well.
But it isn't about Simcox for you, is it? You have been a long-standing critic of the anti-illegal movement. If Simcox does publish the reports and does build a lot of wall or fence, you'll just move on to the next line of opportunistic attacks to counter the growing anti-illegal/border security movement.

To: Texasforever
Dang. Don't you hate it when grassroots guys, new to politics, fail to jump through every bureaucratic hoop?
Good thing he's since hired professional accountants and lawyers, eh?
To: Spiff
No, actually it isn't. And this wee cattle fence is only something like two miles long.
To: EternalVigilance
Yeah and he is still stalling with ALL of those "professionals" . Nice try though.
