No diplomatic settlement is possible with Amadhinejad in
office.
One he's removed maybe there will be something to talk about.
They probably realize that 100s of RPGs and rockets will be aimed at them if they try to fly them out. I've been concerned that Americans might be kidnapped and held inside Lebanon by the filthy hezbullies.
That was what the news babe on Fox said. She gave no source.
Well all this rhetoric has to calm down eventually.
Does Rebel yell know that the State Dept just announced it's too dangerous to get them out now and to stay put? (not what he wants to hear, I am sure)
It just ended.
The war is much more confusing to follow when you don't have imbedded reporters...
Excellent news! Now there isn't a reason to send Bubba.
I just heard that message....
I have to say that I am blown away by the fact that WE the US cannot get our people of of there!!!
NO WAY am I blaming the Israelis...they do what they have to do...but, this is scary..
AND...be sure and look for THIS to be added to the DNC talking points..that it is Bush's fault...gag me.
More info on this after "Apply directly to the forehead:" x3
When I signed up and filled out that little questionnaire, the web site owners asked what issues we were interested in.
I put Other and typed in Geopolitics and terrorism.
(Amazing that terrorism wasn't an option!)
I think Democrats and young people leaning left would benefit learning more about world politics in general and terrorism specifically.
With no runways available, I've been wondering how in the heck you could evacuate 25,000 people.
2,500 Chinooks?

21:09 Rice says would come to Middle East to help reduce violence (News Agencies)
betcha she does
I'm understanding it to mean it's too dangerous for Americans to try to leave Lebanon on their own, like trying to get into Syria, for example.
Unless you mean you heard that they are cancelling efforts to evacuate them?
Wouldn't be surprised...wouldn't be surprised if it accomplished nothing solid, either.
