LOL, Bob has his moments. As far as liberals go, he's not so bad. Tony Snow and the Fox gang have seemingly tamed him a bit.

Thanks. Beckel not taking an opportunity to bash President Bush is truly remarkable. (Every time I think of him, I think of when he called Bush a Nazi while Rich Lowry was on, then called Lowry a Nazi too, LOL. Frothing!)

I can get slack in my bathroom, but even when three boys, who become teenagers, who become young adults, can live in filth thinking their bathroom is clean.

speaking of Wolf - I stood next to him once in a crowded bar in DC while waiting to be seated for dinner. He has to be only about 5'4, if that.

Several years ago during a live action shot, the camera was pinging here and there getting set up and caught a shot of Wolf's feet. I would estimate 3" heels. I remember it because they were so silly looking.

It's kind of hard for me to feel sorry for them with the rats. The first house my husband and I lived in had nutria's in it. Lol... thank God those days are over.

All I can say is that they voted for Hamas. As my mama used to say, Associate with rats and garbage.....;)

I wonder if that Palestinian man that the reporter on CNN was just talking to would have been as talkative if he had known the reporter's name is Ben Wedeman

OMG...on CNN:

Reporter asking a Palestinian in Gaza for comments. Palestinian says his own gov't is failing them, that they are arrested or in hiding "maybe under the floor" and not helping them. Talked about the next election, implying they should be voted out. Then the man said this all started when Palis kidnapped Israeli soldiers!!! The reporter was NOT satisfied with that answer so he then starts in urging him to criticize Bush.

Pathetic, that reporter! He found a Pali who actually blamed the Palestinian gov't for this...and just had to try to put an anti-Israeli/anti-American twist.

I'm only watching CNN because Fox coverage isn't continous, switching back and forth.

Bekaa valley.

Isn't this where some of the illusive WMD's are hid?

I couldn't believe Beckel's answer. When Brian laid the question on Bob I thought he was going to lambaste the President, Bob must be hallucinating today.

Thanks for the nice comments, FReepers.

We've been looking at this stuff all day from different sources and have just now declared "war burnout." LOL

We're going to to have a few beers now and forget about war for a while.

Take care and if we get any information from our contacts in Lebanon tomorrow, I'll resume.

Prayers up for our FReepers who are stuck in Lebanon, all of the decent, non-Hezbollah citizens there and for victory for the IDF.

"Hmm.m. That's interesting. When the Israelis left Gaza, they left perfectly good greenhouses and other things intact. When the "Palestinians" moved in, they destroyed the greenhouses as well as anything else the Israeli's left in the way of things already built that they *could* have used to produce fruits and vegetables or buildings they could have used for constructive uses."

That tells you a lot about what is being dealt with there..

On both of the fronts on which Israel has been drawn into heavy fighting, its enemies can make no legitimate claim to be pursuing a territorial dispute: as of last summer, Israel relinquished its hold on the Gaza Strip; in Lebanon, it pulled back to the UN-certified international border six years ago.

Except that, in both cases, the Jewish state's assailants are indeed pursuing a territorial ambition - to unseat Israel from its own sovereign lands.

Israel has watched Hizbullah build up its offensive capability in the years since the security zone was dismantled - watched it, ever bolder, establishing its positions up against the border fence and saw it developing its missile capability - and chose not to act. That stance was misinterpreted as weakness.

Looks like they're figuring it out now....the hard way!
