Our collective thought's, heart's, and prayer's go out to all the young men and women serving so valiently and all their families worrying about them. To many of us on FR that have served before these young men and women in uniform today are our younger brother's and sister's -- WE WILL NOT ABANDON THEM as was done to so many on FR who are veterans of the Vietnam War.
To you, your son and all your family;
Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Prayers offered for Dustin and his family. Thanks Coop.
Thanks for your support & caring.
Well done, Coop! Thanks for sharing.
That totally kicks a$$! Thank you for the awesome graphics!
Perfect and Saved!
If anybody would like to send a card or letter of support to Dustin and his family, please FReepmail me. He faces a terrible disease, but his spirit and love of life are strong.
Thanks for the ping. Prayers up for Dustin and his entire family and all his caregivers...
Thanks for caring!
Thank YOU, coop!
May God bless you and your treasured son.
Prayers for your family and my sincere thanks for your service to our country.
Coop;
It was awsome that you would take the time to come visit Dustin & myself. I was shocked to say the least. Once again my original post of how I support and thank your whole group for the support week after week rings ever greater. I hope you understand Dustin wasn't much up to the visit. He is only a shell of himself at the present. This Illness has really knocked him for a major one, although as most all his brothers in arms, you wont hear him complain. Again Coop, thanks for your time, and I hope you will come back by as Dustin gets a little better prior to chemo...
Thanks Dan Decol
It was indeed a pleasure meeting both of you. You and especially Dustin were quite gracious to host an uninvited visitor. I dropped off a few cards (and an awesome piece of artwork!) last Saturday, two of them from La Enchiladita. One was for you, although I think you may already be back down south. I did not want to drop in unannounced again, so the desk took them for me.
But I will plan to check in on Dustin again. You may think he's a shell, but I really was impressed by his energy and positive outlook. God bless!
Thank you, Dan, for continuing to join us here on the forum. I am looking forward to Dustin's improved condition, too.
Coop, you're an angel!!
:^)
You're a GOOD man, Coop.
No, but I did visit a couple of 'em. :)
Coop;
Hey Coop, this is Dan Decol, My son Sgt. Dustin Decol who you met at WRAMC, passed away at our home on Sept. 19th, 2006 at 12:45 pm. The cancer came back with a vengeance, and by Sept 4th, they told us he only had days left. After the storm blew over up there , They were able to fly Dustin out at Andrews and he held on and fought till the end. He was such a strong young man, I only wish all could have known the son I cherished. He will be missed by many, and his unborn daughter will be an extremely spoiled young lady. I can't wait, and that is what drives us every single day. Thanks to all @ FR for the prayers and support.
Dan Decol
