Arnold is prettier.
Angelides being pro-bondage should certainly help him in Southern CA...
Arnold votes no on the car tax
Arnold votes no on increased gas tax
Arnold votes no on drivers licenses for illegals
Arnold votes no on increased taxes on business
Arnold votes no on increased state income taxes
Arnold votes no on state funded socialized health insurance
Arnold is for reduced taxation of the film industry
Arnold is for increased power plant construction
Arnold votes against any give-a-ways to the teachers union
Angelides would vote opposite on all of those items. Enough reason not to vote Angelides.
Yep--mostly with the Villaraigosa bunch who pushed for billions in inner-city rail projects included in the Transporation bonds.
2) "The Port of Oakland will be enriched by this bond..." Well, well...a government bailout for the Longshoremen's Union. Imagine that. I see an awful lot of idle cranes and empty berths over there. Most of the traffic seems to be bypassing Oakland and going to Seattle or Long Beach.
So, I'm sure looking forward to hearing when both candidates propose a $37B cuts package!
< crickets >
A tax that was illegal and was in the courts to be repealed.
Arnold votes no on increased gas tax
BS. Arnold supports carbon taxes.
Arnold votes no on drivers licenses for illegals
Which was on its way out by referendum anyway.
Arnold votes no on increased taxes on business
And hits them with increased "fees" instead.
Arnold votes no on increased state income taxes
And raids local revenue forcing them to do it.
Arnold votes no on state funded socialized health insurance
But wants "free care" for the children of illegals.
Arnold is for reduced taxation of the film industry
LOL, that's HIS pocketbook.
Arnold is for increased power plant construction
So he says. His environmental plan speaks otherwise. See: "carbon tax."
Angelides would vote opposite on all of those items. Enough reason not to vote Angelides.
Not enough to vote FOR Arnold.
Angelides has guaranteed he will sign a bill allowing homosexuals to marry each other.
Angelides is a step back to the $25,000 per audience for your issues.
He is a Gray Davis Democrat.
I am voting NO on every measure but roads and parental notification.
He vetoed gay marriage also.
Arnold has signed six bills giving gays marriage in all but name. He has been deemed the most "pro-gay" governor in history, certainly more so than Gray Davis.
Next?
>>I am voting NO on every measure but roads and parental notification.
How about Prop 90, stopping Eminent Domain abuse, strongly supported by property rights groups, Tom McClintock, and the Pacific Legal Foundation?

Prop 85 also appears worthy of a Yes vote.

I'll be voting NO on the $18 billion transportation bond. It has very little to do with roads and includes a whole lot of pork.
Perhaps, but such BS civil unions are NOT transferable across state lines. (attmpts have been rejected in TX, CT, FL and GA just off the top of my head)
With that said, Agelides is still a step backwards. Ahnold can not be governor forever. It is best to put your ducks in order, rebuild the party and set up true conservatives to gradually take over.
Right now CF is a mess. Whining about Ahnold is for the french.
Not true. I never heard about its illegality and it was vetoed long before it made it to the courts. Arnold saved us (me) some money.
Arnold votes no on increased gas tax- BS. Arnold supports carbon taxes.
Never heard that. If it were true, they'd have given us it already.
Arnold votes no on drivers licenses for illegals- Which was on its way out by referendum anyway.
Nope- Gill Sedition-illo, has presented it over and over. It hasn't gone away by referendum. There is another vestion of it in committee as we write.
Arnold votes no on increased state income taxes- And raids local revenue forcing them to do it.
No they didn't. There was no tax increase the in the last state budget.
Arnold votes no on state funded socialized health insurance But wants "free care" for the children of illegals.-
Which we already have in the form of the "Healthy Families" initiative. I am in the Health Insurance business in California. Shiela Commie-Keuhl presents socialized bills for total health health care over and over. Arnold is the only person standing between her and that legislation.
Arnold is way different than Angelides.
If Arnold wins he will continue to destroy the CRP from within. I don't think that small difference is worth it when Republicans will bear the blame for the results of Arnold's fascist policies.
I need to read that one. My city has used eminent domain to great advantage in cleaning up my neighborhood and our downtown. I want cities to be able to have recourse against absentee landlords who don't maintain their properties preventing up badly needed redevelopment projects by holding out for a better price.
I'll read the transportation bond. If it isn't for freeway consctruction I will likely vote NO.
You are absolutely right.
Gays are FURIOUS at Arnold for vetoing gay marriage, the biggie.
He's also vetoing gay promotion in textbooks.
Whatever puts a chink in the militant gay agenda, will most certainly NOT be put there by Angelides.
Tom McClintock agrees.
