Stupid, but I was that stupid many times in my youth. I urinated on my boss' fuse box and blew out all the lights in his house, once. It wasn't intentional, but I was too drunk to ask where the bathroom was, and went outside. I didn't want to make a spectacle of myself.ROFLOL!

My take is that the guy is still shading the truth a bit - he says that he was so intoxicated that he has no recollection of peeing on the memorial, but a bit later he says that he remembers thinking that it was just a simple rock.Those are two different guys.

I agree. These guys sound contrite and their explanation is believable. They seem to be taking full responsibility for their stupid mistake and have fully apologized. I'm willing to accept their explanation.
