There was a British comic several years ago that did a skit about the 4th of July.
A part of it went. We in Great Briton would like to congratulate you Yanks on this the anniversary of your independence from this sovereign crown. You in America call it independence day and the 4th of July. While we here in Great Briton still fondly refer to it as....high treason.
Still cracks me up.
