Yeah, what's up with the Major? The latest DVD (#6) has her tempting that teenage kid she rescued in that alley -- or was she? Motives within motives, and all is not as it appears...
Anyway, with a fully prosthetic body, traditional forms of morality do tend to blur right alongside the whole concept of where the human ends and the machine begins.
So to give the major her due, here she is. To think of it, she shares similar traits with Condi -- they both are adept at using either the carrot or the stick, and both are kick-ass ladies in their own right.
Hmmmm... Seems to me I must have that Cowboy Bebop grafik you did of her as Faye Valentine, alongside Spike redone as GWB. I have to find where I put one... !
Swine! Anime people get touchy about that sometimes. Anyhoo, that was a good pic, too bad you didn't see it. Standalone Complex fully explains the Major's sexual orientation, if there ever was a question about it. (in the Manga canon, Motoko has a boyfriend in a chapter in the first manga, and yet has a wild lesbian party on a boat that was excised from the Dark Horse editions but was in the Japanese original. Something strange about Shirow....). BTW, according to Wiki, there's a Standalone Complex movie that's in production for summer release. The GiTS franchise goes on and on...
I have no idea what became of the Cowboy Jihad graphic I did of Condi and Bush. That vanished into the ether. My cousin photoshopped it.
Meantime, here's a reduced size GiTS: SAC. Second G.I.G Wallpaper for ya...
Nice to see the Condi campaign starting to rev up. When you've been around political people and heard things talked about, and you're able to add two and two, you can see this thing coming a mile away.
Nobody is happy with McCain anyway, and conservatives have huge problems with gungrabber, Roe v. Wade, Rudy.
People have to realize that it's still early yet. Let's make sure that we hold onto majorities in both Houses of Congress.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
