lol
Do you mean that Fox actually has a channel with news on it? They must slip the news in there to break up the boredom of everything else they put on.
And yet you still watch...
Ha! Understood ...
Could also be just a slow news day there at the network, and they need an alert or two just to keep the staff awake!
I think it's part of the "Don't touch that dial!!!/Stay tuned for further details!!!/here's a word from our sponsor" tactic.
Tragedy and hysteria sells ads.
*shrug*
Eventually you'll pretty much tune 'em out....:)
In addition to DC, there are currently severe thunderstorm warnings in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, Maine, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, South Carolina and Vermont.
Has Fox news brought out the alert gong for them?
I don't know how you all can laugh at daisy storms (I have a spell chequer) and penny hell happening on our own east coast. Wait a minute, yeah I can. These long weekends really wear on me too.
Yeah its true, I guess its better than CNN. Of course I often have to switch to CNN if anything truly big and important is happening in the World because for some reason besides the Murdoch Media assets around the World ,Fox never uses them. Oops, that is another Fox Rant I have and how they are not living up to their potential. Perhaps, that why Fox has all these News Alerts. It masks that they are running things on the cheap up there.
It's raining, I'm watching the Simpsons on the DC "Fox 5" channel and I haven't seen a peep about it.
I am still waiting on that. I saw lightning outside my house a second ago but I am waiting for the FOX Chick to confirm it
"Next are the frogs and locust?"
Plagues up next.
......;]
I know what you mean. They do get tiresome.
You are so right here. If you ever want a clear picture of how out of touch the MSM is with a vast majority of the country outside of Washington DC and New York City, just track their weather stories.
I bet everyone has noticed, to FOX News, every tidbit of information merits "Breaking news" logo, loud musical alerts, and a breathless anchor(ette) making the announcement. So I'm not surprised news of DC storms merits their special attention, especially since some museums were closed last week to protect from water damage.
Don't get me wrong, I couldn't make it through the day without my FOXNews fix. I love FOXNews, but I surely do wish "hair on fire" delivery wasn't their standing order.
"but I am waiting for the FOX Chick to confirm it"
Who are you gonna believe? The Fox chick or your own lying eyes?....:)
Nope, frogs and mice....
"hair on fire" delivery
LOL!
Row, row, row your toad gently down the stream.....
