Yeah this is Bizzaroworld, the Democrats wanting to shut down government during a natural disaster and stop tax increases. They should just make Corzine pay it out of his personal fortune. Didn't he spend 70 million to get the job.

New Jersey is the 2nd wealthiest state in the nation (per capita & family income). It is an absolute disgrace that we are in the financial situation that we are in.

I totally agree with you. What Corzine will do is make the middle class pay for it all, as usual. Between McGreevy and Corzine the state of New Jersey will soon become a ghost state. People will move out. My buddy moved to the Poconos to get away from the taxes of NJ. But they still took big chunks of his salary because he remained there as an employee for a chemical Company.
His only respite was the fact that he didn't have the high property taxes that went along with living there.
