I don't have much hope of knowing the outcome before I have to call it quits on Central time.
But with as much hype as went into this race, and as fractured as FR was over it, it should be an entertaining thread. You guys out west have a lot of advantages. Everything happens before you have to hit the sack.

You boy's already been humiliated, Dane.
Soiled his pants and wept like a baby.

I agree. Cannon got the message loud and clear regardless if he loses or wins. If he starts with the pro-illegal BS he's toast for sure in 2008.

Could you please keep your private moments between you and your dominatrix to yourself.

Where are you getting those figures? KSL still has no precincts reporting.
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
Cannon is toast anyway. If he pulls it out tonight, the game is back on again first thing tomorrow.

Directly from the state link...posted up above.

This will indeed be a "referendum" on the immigration issue, won't it?
Funny how the media ignores this race.

Man you are already setting up a "moral victory" cop-out. You sound like democrats.

What will the "Jacob won even though he lost" crowd say if Cannon gets a *higher* percentage than 2004?

I should have added: of course, if Cannon loses, the LameStream Media will be all over the place talking about "Bush's loss".

I'll concede that it's not looking good for Jacob.
To: CWOJackson
3 precincts from Utah County, where Jacob was running somewhat stronger than in Salt Lake County per the polls. It won't take too much more of that for Jacob to be on the ropes, as far as winning, I suspect.

What game? Are you shifting your support to the Silly Party or the Very Silly Party?

You must keep in mind that bay buchanan is a key player in this election...no defeat too small.
To: AmishDude
Very seriously: On what do you base your pessimism?

What will the "Jacob won even though he lost" crowd say if Cannon gets a *higher* percentage than 2004? Probably something straight out of the howard dean press release about the Jean Schmitt/Paul Hackett race in June 2005(i.e loss is victory).

Hell he is close. Look we still hold a GOP seat regardless. If Jacobs wins I will not say another word against him. If he loses the only satisfaction I will express is that Tancredo didn't get a scalp.
