Hey! The link doesn't work! Maybe it won't allow linking articles or something crazy like that! See if this link to the site will work:

To: RogerWilko
Nope not that one either. Just find the story header if you do a cite search. That is odd. Wonder why that story went bye bye?

Cable still has such a teeny, tiny percent of viewers. I remember getting a call from Nielson asking if the network I was working for was "off the air" because it was only registering 2 million viewers...and that was daytime. That was then. This is now. CBS evening news with Rather only had 5 million viewers.
Years ago an advertiser could buy all 3 networks (ABC, NBC, and CBS) and reach 90 percent of the people in the USA. Today less than 30 percent can be reached that way.
A network newscast like NBC eveing news reaches at best 9 million viewers. But that is in one half hour. If you compare FOX News during that half hour Fox News has 10 percent of the NBC news viewers. But Fox news is on 24 hours a day.. What is the NBC evning news audience at 9PM? It is zero. It is not on the air. What is Fox News audience at 9PM? .. About 2 million..
The total number of people reached by FOX News greatly dwarfs the MSM.. simply because the MSM has Today and its clones, and an eveing newscast and few Sunday News talk shows. That is it. Fox News goes 24/7. That makes a big difference.
The true measure of clout is in total people reached each day, not those reached during the half hour the MSM has a newscast.

Larry Elder (positively NO "S"!)
Wow, is he nationally syndicated? Sounds like our kind of guy on his website.

Hardball couldn't even beat Nancy Grace. Way to hang on to the "Plame Leak" case Chrissy.

I've listened to Rush, Hannity & Laura Ingraham etc etc for years and years, and I would put him at that top level in terms of quality.
He is a liberal assassin.

Over all the Cable TV market is shrinking. Especially in the 25-40 year old demographic. Seems the Internet is not just killing the Published Media. I mean, why watch a TV show when I know more about the News of the day then the "Journalists" just by spending 15 mins or so on line?

Tucker Carlson's show would improve if he would change the format. Ditch Max Kellerman and the phony "debates" and the woman with the Goodwill Industries wardrobe.

I catch him on XM 5pm - 8pm CST.
But from his website: "The Larry Elder Show" is a nationally syndicated talk show on ABC Radio Networks, as of August 12, 2002. "The Larry Elder Show" broadcasts live from 6-9 PM (ET), Monday through Friday.

Please put Brit on in Gretta's time slot!I'll vote for that.
Gretta beats her stories to death - month upon month upon month on one story, as if there were nothing else going on the world...

did you notice this little number in front of the total number of viewers?
for exmple:
MSNB HARDBALL WITH C. MATTHEWS 0.4
that number is the share or
the percentage of the TV's that are turned on that are tuned in
so in this case chris matthews had a whopping 0.4% not even 1% kind of makes the presidents 40% approval numbers look a little better than yours mr hardhead

I would love to see Lou Dobbs leave C(X)NN and go to FOX. Robert Novak did.
