Well, we can all thank this moron for being a moron. He successfully handed these two little queens a 10 year sentence. Florida has a wonderful thing called "10-20-life". They won't be bothering anyone soon. :-)
"10-20-LIFE
In 1999, Governor Bush signed into law the 10-20-LIFE bill. The law requires a minimum 10-year sentence for crimes committed with a gun, a 20-year sentence for firing the gun during the commission of a crime and 25 years to life if the bullet fired causes death or injury."

He's trying to have it two ways. He chatted with her for two weeks, therefore he had some knowledge of her. On the other hand, all he knew about her was from some photos and come comments. Good points, the article is sorta sketchy in details on the chat. Also, we don't know even if he was chatting to one of the girls, both the girls, or the boy the article mentions (or all three were in it together). One thing is for certain, it doesn't take much cunning to fool certain people.
Do you remember that person we had on FR for a very long time called "SnowBunny"... Deception can occur even on FR and can weave a whole lot of tangled webs. It had me fooled I must admit and I am no spring chicken (later fall chicken I am). LOL..
Good chatting Enterprise..

When are people going to realize that meeting someone they 'met' on line in anything but a very public setting is lunacy? (They should take at least one friend with them too!)

". I also think there are lot's of incredibly dense people out there who think that by going to the nightclubs and swinger bars, they are going to find someone to have a meaningful long term realtionship with." Some of those incredibly dense people hang out on MySpace.

Hey, I like the sound of that 10-20-Life law. How is it working so far?

Based on the entire article, I think his story stinks. I think the entire article stinks. It was poorly written and not enough information was provided. The poor writing skills of the "journalist" have ended up confusing the few facts that are presented. I don't understand how someone with such poor reporting skills is actually making a living as a reporter. They are a beacon of hope to slackers everywhere.

while I don't automatically assume the guy was after jailbait, I *do* conclude that he was a horny fool who should learn that all first-time IRW meets with any kind of internet chum should always occur in a crowded public venue.

Good thing she was just "looking for fun" and wasn't looking for "toomuchfun". She would've gotten the allegedly murderous Darren Mack as a MySpace friend.
