Also, let this be a reminder to all conservatives of the danger of government power. It can, and
will, be abused regularly.
And it builds on itself.
Government needs to be scaled back.

Is it legal to have a prescription in your Doctor's name for privacy reasons? Sorry, not a lawyer...

Rush is Public Enemy #1 insofar as the foaming-at-the-mouth Left is concerned. He needs to be very careful. If true, this sounds like he may not have been careful enough. The jackals are ever on the hunt.

Rush can and should have some fun with this.
Perhaps a joint commercial with Viagra with Rush and Bob Dole...
Perhaps a Rodney Dangerfield type of monologue where he rants about not getting any respect...
Perhaps he could do an analysis of his need for this drug versus the needs of various limp-wristed lefty's who spend their days sitting in Starbucks and dreaming about writing novels that have a distraught young woman as the main character...
Perhaps he could question why any such law would be enforced - after all, our immigration laws are not enforced - who cares about Viagra?

a non-narcotic prescription drug, which had been prescribed by Mr. Limbaugh's treating physician but labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes Is it illegal to carry prescription drugs for another person? Couldn't Rush just have said he was bringing the pills to his physician friend?

Where's the Laundry List of Teddy Kennedy's drugs?
To: Retired Chemist
Does this mean that the self proclaimed epitome of virtue and morality is having premarital sex? You would have thought that Rush would have shown a little bit more precaution on anything dealing with prescription drugs. At least he doesn't need Viagra for his swelled ego.

This smells of a setup....a prominent man like RL, returns from abroad, in his private jet, I doubt that 1 in 10000 are searched....and RL, makes 26 Million per year, he can afford to buy anything he wants, he sure as hell don't have to smuggle anything.

How many times have I been in a doctor's office and they prescribe something, and say "here are a few manufacturers' samples to get you started" to save me some money or to prevent me from having to run out immediately and wait for it to be filled?
Slap the cuffs on me, I admit it.
This is invasion of privacy, harassment and character assassination, no two ways about it. That "drive by media" comment was closer to the truth than even I thought.
I hope Rush has not removed any tags from mattresses, because that will be next.
They can't refute his ideas, I guess, so they have to do this.
If this had been done to a liberal there would be such an outcry it would be unbelievable.
Will there be a "Plame" type investigation of the leak? there should be.
This harassment of Delay, Rush, etc. has got to stop.
This will backfire and make it more likely that the Republicans keep the House.

Okay, riddle me this: I go to my doctor, I say I need help in the sex department. He gives me some samples of Viagra to try, I leave the doc's office and drive home, but on the way, I'm pulled over by a cop for driving erratically and when he ask for license and registration, he sees the pills on the drivers seat. What happens?
To: Retired Chemist
This has got to be a fluke.
Viagra can be bought in most countries without a prescription.
Evidently the enemies of Rush are also our enemies.
It is not uncommon for a doctor to give away a sample to patients.
These are times when a person would like to choke the green goose feces out of these liberal turds.

What an accommodating doctor. Issue a prescription for a man being monitored by the Court, in a name other than his own.
Sounds about the same as Ann Coulter registering to vote using the address of her realtor instead of her own.....for privacy reasons.
Is there something in the water in Florida, or in the heads of celebrities who think minor little laws don't apply to them.

Let me get this straight. If I get a prescription and the twit behind the counter types it wrong, I've committed a crime?
Have you seen the idiots working in Doctor's offices and pharmacies?
And, if I get stopped at the airport, they broadcast what kind of ass cream I use?
Why the hell are we wasting air on liberals? Is there a reason to even consider negotiating with these little ass wipes?
(who cares, move on, we all get old and if this gives him pleasure, whatever.)

Sounds like there is a very lucky lady in Rush's life.
Honestly, I don't understand why anyone would feel embarrassed about taking Viagra to the point of getting the prescription in the doc's name, but what do I know about being a celebrity and all that comes with it?
