Diana Irey beating Murtha would be the same kind of rush for conservatives that Coleman beating Daschle was in 2004.Coleman beat Walter Mondale who was filling in for the recently killed Paul Wellstone. John Thune beat Daschole. (Or you could say Daschole beat Daschole).
Don't get me wrong, I really would like to see Murtha go down.

Excellent post. I'm so glad that someone sees this the same way I do. I want to scream at Judge Napalatono on Fox when he gets this completely wrong. All he has to do is read the Supreme Court decision in "
New York Times Co. v. United States" (The Pentagon Papers case) and note the specific statements in the concurring opinion signed by Justices White and Stewart.
There is several centuries of case law that says the government cannot stop a journalist from publishing something, but that the journalist is subject to criminal prosecution for what he publishes after that fact. To argue otherwise is ignorant or willfully dishonest.

I truly believe that God has given us this man at this time.......I truly believe Angels must have been looking after Bush 41 (dad of Bush 43) when he was shot down in WW2. So very many of those shot down were captured and killed by the Japanese it is almost a miracle that GHW Bush was rescued.
The book Flyboys is an excellent account of these heroic flyers and I highly recommend it.

So much did I desire to see Daschole defeated that I sent contributions to Thune twice. (Now, there's Dingy Harry Reid in his place. Grrrrrr) It would take more than money, however, to blast Kennedy and Rinos Collins and Snowe out of their seats.
South Carolinians are not happy w/Lindsey Graham, so there is a real possibility of his having a strong opponent in '08...Ravenel.

Either let a Democrat into the White House, or we will continue to sabotage American security and, in effect, kill Americans. We will keep secrets when a Democrat is in office, but not a Republican. So we offer the American people a choice: Let the politicians we favor run the country, or we will help Al Qaeda murder you.
FINALLY, tbe Democrat Contract With America!

Neal is quite appalling. He was worse on air. An emailer commented at the end of the program that he knows when it has been a great week for Bush by how agitated Neal gets. He's sort of like that former Times editor that went nuclear on the Chrissy Wussy Show a few months back...or is it already a year????

I'm surprised Col. Oliver North didn't ask that. Too bad, I would have loved to see Colmes' response.

Hi Gang,
I had severe withdrawal this morning and missed you all terribly. My cable company was VERY tardy in restoring the connection after heavy rain Thursday night. Just got back on line a few minutes ago.
I was forced to watch MTP on local TV, which was just another Dem infomercial; and I heard parts of Fox news on the radio. Thank goodness for John Warner's sense of military necessity.
&&&&&
Now, I'll start at the beginning of this thread and see what y'll thought about today's show. FNS rerun is also starting now. So I'm only 9 hours behind!

Clearly Karzai is going to be demanding more financial support from the US.

I heard the Karzai-Blitzer interview on the radio. It is very instructive to hear voices, instead of watching talking heads. Karzai sounded so strong and knowledgeable. It seemed like he wanted to reach into Wolfie's studio and smack him about the head and shoulders for the smarmy questions that he was forced to reply to.

Heh. I often lurk on these Sunday press thread just because I am an amateur and already know the BS that is going to be spouted by the dems and msm.......but I try to entertain myself all the same. :-)

The media is determined to make it more difficult to protect this country from attack. It's almost as tho they are wishing for something terrible to happen. They are. They will do anything to deny W a legacy, in revenge for what the Republicans did to their loser idol, Clinton. A few thousand american lives? Worth it to them and the Clintonistas, because they believe it will put Hillary and her puppet-master Bill back in the White House for another glorious 8 years, and the media elite on the guest list for state dinners and romps in the Lincoln bedroom again.

Sultzberger: "I would have gotten away with it but for those darn kids!"Filed under Believe It or Not:
In the latest issue of a local magazine is a puff piece about a local woman who is the NYTimes Editor of the Washington Bureau. In this article she is praised, and she brags about her efforts in the Pulitzer Prize winning story which broke the news about the NSA surveillance program.
Pulitzer winner Rebecca Corbett. Page 78 - unfortunately not online. Curiously her husband, Steve Corbett is also a writer for the same magazine! I bet if I looked up her address, (she lives close to me), I would find a "War is not the Answer" sign in her front yard!

Arlen is not the right person to head the judiciary committee Got the Rino blues, use Fr's newest method against Rino infestation it's called Rinoway.
Simply mail ten million dollars to the nearest conservative Candidate running against your infested Rino and Rinoway will do the rest.
It's a sure fire method that never fails.

I heard all that, it was awesome. Wolffie must have been trying to hide under the table as the answer to his question kept getting worse and worse and worse for CNX types.
First the oil minister said "yeah wolfie we just set a record this month" by the time he was through he was telling Woolfie that Iraq's plans ware to supersede the Saudis by 2016!
I could just imagine woolfie trying to dial up the limo to take him home immediately if not sooner.

And of course .. Juan is TOTALLY missing the point .. again I just saw the replay.
Juan Williams thinks it is better to disrupt the terrorists' ability to move money around than to let them think that they are moving money secretly while we are actually tracking their money movements, and presumably, them too.
