Brilliant on Cindy's part! She can kill two birds with one stone--look sympathetic to those who fall for her schtick, and lose weight at the same time.
We've already received commitments from wonderful allies such as Willie Nelson, Danny Glover, Dick Gregory and Dolores Huerta, as well as military veterans, religious leaders, students, and women's groups.
"Commitments" for what, exactly? I think Gregory has done the hunger strike before. I guess Willie would participate since a hunger strike wouldn't keep him from enjoying doobies.
