Ali al-Mashhadani is not Abdul-Rahman al-Mashhadani.
One, very different names. Two, how can he run a human-rights organisation from custody?
Mashhadani is a tribal name. There are tens of thousands of them. So yes they would be related, but in a very very loose way...
If that's the way you want to take it.
With only a first name and a tribal name to go by, I don't know why you are so confident.
Having spent much of the last three years in Iraq, I'd be willing to wager you a considerable sum that these men are most unlikely to be the same...

Actually Cossacks these days are a lot less fun than al-Mashhadanis, who in turn are themselves a lot less fun than Somalis and Congolese (my other erstwhile buddies). Though of course they are generally nicer people...
I haven't been back to Iraq since last October. Never thought I'd say it, but I do kind of miss it. Prayers that one day the good people of Iraq (who do make up a majority of the population) will no longer be terrorised by the bad and they can finally live in peace.
I'm sure the Irais are deeply grateful for your wishes for them. It must really buck them up.
Since you claim to be so knowlegeable of the language and Iraqi custems, why don't you do something useful like pick up a phone?
Call Hammurabi and ask them:
Who made the tape?
Why did they wait eight weeks to give it to anybody?
Which of their family members are in jail for insurgency activity?
What stories did they work on with Time before Haditha?
What else have they ever done before Haditha that can be documented?
Who is the co-partner and why doesn't he allow himself to be photographed?
(Make sure you get everybody's "surnames." LOL)

To all, i have been goin to many websites to clear the name of the human rights chairman. I wrote the poems many years ago when i was a kid so do not blame any1. This is not a joke, i updated the webpage so it can be proof. I have an identical surname and i used it years ago to make my website. If any were offended i apologise for this and please read the comments on the site. true the ticker was put on in 2004, but what is important guys is that this other guy is not blamed for this, i mean it was something written when i was 10 i think. We have same tribe name and first name so therefore confusion happened. So guys plz make sure in future reference to this that the other guy is not blamed for this. Thanks you for being mature about this situation. PS: i apologise again for offence made to any1, and im just hopin this is sorted out on all the other webpages.
