Yep, he's jkphoto...often referred to as "jk", our resident professional photographer........whenever he is able to show up, which isn't often. He comes in and lurks once in awhile, but rarely posts.

AWESOME, MAGNIFICENT, BEAUTIFUL, BREATH-TAKING, GRAND ... !!!!! That photo of Rushmore and the jets (!) could never be topped! Thank you, Meg33, for post #33! :^)
I also happened to see the tail-end of a TV show last night with an aerial shot of Rushmore. I have never seen Rushmore and have also always wanted to see the Black Hills and the Badlands. Let's do a FReeper pilgrimage; wouldn't that be great?!

Let's do a FReeper pilgrimage; wouldn't that be great?! That would be so much fun! I am so envious of my son's trip up to Eastern Montana and the Dakotas because it is part of the country I haven't visited, and the reports coming back are that they are having a blast on this trip. (On Warm Fuzzy Wednesday I am going to post some photos of some fuzzy Buffalo they encountered up close near Yellowstone.)
Pinging my traveling friend, Amy. Wouldn't a trip to Mt. Rushmore be fun? Have you ever been there?
