I would bet that Leno might have prepped the audience and Carlin to be respectful. Say what you want about Jay - but he does not go for the cheap laughs or approval. How snarky would Letterman have been?

Carlin looked old. Carlin is what? 60 or 61?? But he did drugs and went into rehab - that will put 10 years on your face.

Leno asked her if she travels with a bodyguard and she said, "no, I travel with conservative men!"
And the whole exchange at the beginning was: Ann mentioned Leno's jokes about her the night before; Leno said, yes, I mentioned that you might want to be careful or Dorothy might drop a house on you; Ann said, "I think I'm Dorothy, and I just dropped a big old house on the mainstream nedia."

Thank you guys for providing support for Ann so that she did not have the usual pie throwers.

I'm betting Carlin was quiet because Pixar told him to keep it zipped and not embarrass them.

ditto what Reagan Fanatic said.
Thanks, as always, for your faithful representation, Doug.

He was polite. It's not impossible for liberals to be polite, just exceedingly rare.

"We live in interesting times :)" Yes we do.
In fact, "InterestingTimes" is one of my former handles here on FR.

I was wondering if Carlin would actually not want to provide any more controversy (either for the Tonight Show or Coulter) and just hold his tongue. It seems so.I'm getting the impression Carlin simply just doesn't care anymore.
He's always been a liberal guy who just didn't like other liberals, and he's older now, promoting a movie (a kids movie no less).
He wants a paycheck, not a fight.

Could you imagine back in 1970 that George Carlin would be doing a Disney flick?
Goes to show you how much Disney has changed...'cause Carlin sure as hell hasn't.
I recently unloaded my lousy 100 shares of Disney stock...I could no longer stomach having any vested interest in that corporation.

"Asked if she is hurt by liberal attacks on her, Coulter said she wears them "as a badge of honor. She added that she was surprised that liberals have failed to object to being called "Godless, and have concentrated their fire on one small part of one chapter, when she criticized the Jersey Girls "
Great.
Just simply great.

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOO you were actually in the audience?
Awesome and a big thanks.
The viewing audience needs to know that Ann is not the wicked witch.
That title belongs to the jersey girls.

No, all I did was show up and was given a ticket. All of the credit goes to RonDog and those who were able to get tickets.

'Loved her on the show...Love her on ANY show!
However, one small preference (Mebbe it's my taste in women.)
Could Ann be persuaded to eat at Wendy's, Burger King and McDonald's a bit more often? I would like to see her sexy look enhanced with just a few more calories consumed!
