We had lots of people join during the Schaivo days...I know a few of them were dems (I've seen them post to other groups) who came here to voice their opinion. When the Schaivo issue ended, many stayed and are now disruptors.

"Collectively, the MSM has in one week decided Bush is back on top and on the rebound, and that's what they are reporting."

Of course Bush is on top. The MSM just buried Kerry in front of the entire nation. Hillary now has her talking points, Kerry gets the support of 6 unwashed anti-war Communists and Bush gets a 5 point surge which will be gone by Tuesday when the MSM decides that Kerry is no longer the story.

(Information about this Libe strategy is on page 47 of the LIberal playbook)

Just think of it as carrying your personal computer around in your pocket.

:)

I have a 5-gig Seagate mini-drive that is round and just 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Plugs into any USB port. I also have several flash drives. Very cool stuff. Makes taking large work files and such back and forth from home to office a snap. I just had never heard the term thumb drive before.

For someone that claims to have this great knowledge of the Bible, a PhD., and have taught at a high level, you show a gross lack of understanding in these matters.

According to Romans chapter 13 we are to OBEY the laws of the land and submit to governmental authorities

The author of Romans, Paul, would never, ever be bad mouthing the President, a God fearing man, and trying to tear him down with cheap shots. The writer of Romans also instructed you to do the following, something you completely ignore.

Phil 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Instead you are extremely negative.

Seeing that Jesus will one day rule the earth with a “rod of iron” I hardly think he is going to put up with lawlessness of any kind.

Why if that is true, did Jesus did not follow the law when the women who was caught in adultery was bought to him. The law stated that she was to be stoned. That was the law. Note it was those self-rightheous, pompous Pharisees that were so eager to see her stoned. THAT'S YOU. A modern day Pharisee to the core.

As for Revelation 7:9-10, you are sorely mistaken in your misapplication of the text.

No, you sorely missed the point. That up in heaven, there will not be all of these divisions and us vs them. "We don't like their kind, blah, blah, blah"

Lastly, this has nothing to do with legalism and everything to do with obeying the laws of the land and prosecuting to the fullest extent of the God given law, those who willfully have chosen to break it by entering the country illegally.

Merciless, no grace, eager to punish those evil law breakers. That you! You remind of the story of the wicked servant, who was shown great mercy, and then he went out and started choking his fellow servant, showing him no mercy. We know what his master thought of him with that attitude.

That makes a lot of sense.

I joined during the height of the Schiavo mess. I figure if I lasted through that, I can last through anything!

As usual, you are 100% correct and have pointed out the most salient high points of what's going on.

Neither Afghanistan nor Iraq are "quagmires", the WOT is NOT a clone of the Nam war, and 2006 is most assuredly NOT 1968,'69,'70, or even '73; no matter how the left yearns for these things to be so. Hanoi Jane and F'in Kerry have to remain their current, respective ages; there is no way that they can in anyway now go back in time and be "young" again.

FIGHT BACK NOW....RECLAIM FR!

Lots of us, me included, have just walked away for longish periods of time. This has allowed the others to dominate; to take over, if you will. Well, no more...........all of "us" need to come roaring back ( Yes, that means lurkers too !) and make FR work the way it's supposed to; as it once did.

There was one who was very much "save her at any cost". He fought well, but when Terri died his attention shifted to posting anything he could about how the Bush family could have saved her...and it went downhill from there. Remember PC93? Juan?

truth to tell, I haven't on FR much this year myself.

Ouch, now that's a loss....

As for me, it's been a combination of a new job, a new situation and local conservative activism that eats up about 18 hours a day now. No time for Internet and I wouldn't be any use here anyways as I can't keep up with articles and minute details of ongoing political issues.

Glad to hear your family is well, mine is doing fine here.... I think. Don't see them much, either LOL

"It's time for the REST of us to speak the hell up and get this forum BACK to where it was."

Thanks for the ping. I hear you loud and clear. Disruptors need to be tackled head on, no more pussy-footing, there's too much PC on FR, in my honest Aussie opinion.

GO W GO!

You have done well Fudd. :)
I wish we could get the stealth trolls gone, and get FR back to what it once was. I love this place, and hate to see so many of the "good guys" leaving. :(

It's heartwarming to the soul to see YOU :-)

Still happily doodling, I hope? And hubby and your brilliant, talented youngsters happy and well?

Zarqawi's death brought a fierce and delicious satisfaction for us... wonderful to hear that his last few minutes were looking up at American uniforms while he knew he was captured and dying. Came here looking for more info, no place has details like FR :-) Looks like it got packed with folks from DU, though, good grief....

Some don't think it a loss. LOL

Oh my goodness...you really have been busy! Good for you; being involved, in real life, IS far more important than spending hours on line.

As for me, it's been a combination of family commitments ( see your FREEPmail )and being fed up with what has been happening on and to FR.

Remember, the one Bush/Rove trademark is to not to fire till you see the whites of their eyes. Save your powder till it really, really counts.

Once was; but, it is no secret now that I am no Bush fan any longer (disclaimer announced). But, every time some kind of luck happens that might, in some round-about way be in Bush's favor, that was purely an accident in most incidents, the Bushbots come out and claim that Bush/Rove is all of a sudden some mastermind that planned this from the start and executed it perfectly. Yeah right! Listen to a Bush speech and let me know if he could even mastermind ironing his underwear.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...President Bush didn't have anything at all to do with Iraq getting a government, our military training Iraqis, so that they could do the job, instead of our guys and gals, going to Iraq was a "stunt" to get his poll numbers up, etc., etc., etc.! It's all just "luck". Uh hunh, I see.

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
