Both Leno and Carlin let her talk and make her points. I think it went really well.
Me too Fuddy! She's simply amazing!
She does exhibit the symptoms, I agree with you there...
Thanks for the thread, High Wheeler.
She's never been better!
I'd say she hit a grand slam!
IMO, the hype was better than the act.
Ann talking about how liberals don't tolerate other points of view..she even mentioned the college twerps who threw pies at her! I think the liberals in the audience were kind of in shock that Ann was reasonable, intelligent and composed-unlike her critics!
Ann was great, but I was hoping for more. I thought she and Carlin were going to have some kind of "show down". Carlin was awfully quiet...
What explains your idiotic and irrelevant comments?
So many trolls--Ann did wonderful. She looked great- no way any thing there to complain about. But just wait...
***Carlin is the perfect gentleman, btw.***
Carlin? Who is that? All I saw was Ann! Ann! Ann! and some old man.
Sarcasm off.
Leno: Do you have a bodyguard?
Ann: No, I hang around with conservative men.
I'll give it to Jay --- he let her talk!
I agree with your every word! Spot on.
Yes!!!!!!
Carlin is more of a has been who peaked in the late 1960s. Rick Moranis did a great SCTV parody of Carlin on SCTV back in the late 1970s/early 1980s, and the idea was that he was just a thoughtless hack, reading off index cards, using unfunny 'observations' that were old a decade before.
That's still Carlin. "Some veggies have great names, and others don't! What's up with beets? Beets? Beats? Beeets??? Beats me!!" [Generous laughtrack]
I used to think Lenny Bruce was awesome, too. Then I turned 17. :-)
She just sold a whole lot of books. Go Ann Go!
I can only imagine how much 'crap' Leno is going to get from liberal friends for showing her book TWICE!!
I wear their contempt as a badge of honor.
And the sneer that followed was perfect! :-)
Excuse me. I didn't attack you. I didn't attack Ann. I've seen that rumour on more than a few occasions.
He was there to promote the movie 'Cars'
She was there to promote her book Godless.
A certain amount of professional courtesy was in order.
I loved that part.
Heck, Rob, I loved it all.
She was pure class and handled Jay's questions superbly.
