"In journalism, facts and truth are supposed to matter.
Bologna ! When has the "Main Stream Media" considered facts and truth other than matters of spin to influence the dummies that listen to them?

Cliff Kincaid is entitled to his opinion.

I really enjoy how much attention that line is getting, and the myopic press chooses not to focus on the argument Ann is making.

The reason? Because she's accurate.

I've never seen the press enjoy the focus on these widows and their husband's deaths so much.

Ann Coulter was not writing a news article, which of course, SHOULD be based in fact (although the mainstream media has forgotten that). Ann was writing a political opinion piece, more or less. Not that different from so many other books on the bookstore shelves.

If this guy wants to take on accuracy in the media, he should be more accurate in who and what he targets.

I think the Jersey girls are enjoying their fifteen minutes of fame as 9/11 widows. Seems to me they had better things to do then spout off their political views -- like raising their children without a father, or grieving for their husbands. The pics they have posed for do not reflect those activities. A few comments I could understand, but they have made a career out of it. I don't give a hoot about their opinions......and I don't much care what Ann says about them. They put themselves out there and made themselves public/political figures - they stopped being victims then. The public can comment as far as I am concerned, Ann included.

" There is no evidence whatsoever that those women enjoyed their husbands' deaths,

Pretty healthy sum of money came their way when other victims throughout the world get nothing and other victims of crisis in the U.S. get nothing and other Americans who were victims of terror overseas got nothing and other victims of murder and violence throughout the country get nothing.
Lots of media focus and attention elevating them to celebrity status, talk shows, TV shows.
almost 1/2 the country hangs on their every word as if they are experts in every field and on any subject as long as it's anti administration.

There are several uses/meanings of the word enjoy in the dictionary. Look the word up. It doesn't necessarily mean pleasure and bliss.

As soon as these gals started name calling, and putting all blame on this administration while ignoring the prior administration's actions or inactions they became fair game in my book. They lost their victim-hood status the minute they started bashing unreasonably and viciously while being bolstered by the MSM and the left.

This is way off. The sentiments expressed are obviously opinion and hyperbole and they got the attention of the left and are thereby selling many more books. The actual information in the book is thereby being disseminated more widely and the libs are starting to look publicly like the selectively sanctimonious prigs they are.

"There is no evidence whatsoever that those women enjoyed their husbands' deaths..." per the article.

"Enjoyed" is past tense, and the Breitweiser coven probably didn't enjoy the deaths when they occurred. However, they seem to be having a rip-roaring good time being celebreties now -- and Ann didn't use the past tense; she said "enjoyING", and I think she's right.

Although Coulter is right most of the time, she is often not a good representative of our side. She is often too aggressive and abrasive. She seems to have some sort of inferiority complex and toots her own horn too much. I enjoy reading her work more than listening to her. She's brilliant but just drives people away, much like O'Reilly (although I agree with her more often than O'Reilly). Mostly, she needs a husband to put her in her place.

"I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much."

Maybe she meant Howard Dean & Co., since he and the Democrat leadership really are enjoying the political mileage they are getting out of their unassailable spokeswomen.
