Interesting book review, may have to go out and get it......

Evolution is to Nazis the way the scientific explanation of gravity is related to those who push people out of windows.

Recognizing competition as the natural state of survival and reproduction is not an endorsement of policies that promote such a reality. On the contrary, it serves as a warning against eugenics and savagery.

For a minute there I thought Adrienne Barbeau was now a writer . . .
(Darn. I said her name. Now I must include a pic . . . Sorry. It's the rules . . .)

This supports Ann Coulter's book: "Godless". Another book sure to PO the liberals. LOL!
Incidently, my GP/FP is a true liberal. I mentioned that I was reading Coulter's book "Godless". He couldn't help himslef..the word "Bitch" flew from his mouth. I laughed. He hadn't read the book, and of course would not...but I did point some of her facts out that even a liberal had to accept.

Well, it is a thread
about Darwin. The topic
that's most fit will live . . .

A new record; comparing evolutionists to Hitler and the nazis usually comes along about post #12, but here its an entire book and an entire thread.

I was lucky in college my professors were respectful towards religious people. They did not insult anyone. They just taught. Darwin was made to look like an humble Noah figure. He was desperately looking for proof of the creation of God and did not find it. This article calls into question this version of Darwin. There is the possibility he was a class conscious Victorian who despised the egalitarian aspects of Christianity. He may have deliberately formulated a theory to excuse the excesses of cruel and powerful people. The fruit of Darwin's theory has not been good.

This supports Ann Coulter's book: "Godless". If only the twisted claims about Charles Darwin's attitudes were true.
It is amazing how quickly some people believe any nonsense that is written about the man.

I am sorry to disappoint you.

It seems that this post is more than just an ad hominem attack. I believe it deserves a serious response.
I'm not, however, holding my breath.

Oh for heaven's sake. I'm a Catholic through and through with 12 years of Catholic school under my belt. Evolutionary science co-existed quite easily with a loving God who rules over all of His creation.
Unless of course you're one of those who believes that Catholics aren't Christians, in which case go ahead and steep in your prejudicial juices.

The late scientist Carl Sagan would say you either believe in God or you believe in Darwin's Theory. You can not believe in both at the same time.
