Prepare for it to get worse.
CUPW has stuck its nose in.
Aboriginals in other parts of the country are making noises of support.

The irony of this all is that these natives weren't originally from this area.
They came here from the US after picking the wrong side in the Revolutionary War.
They took land belonging to the Massasauga Indians.
Here's what they are claiming is theirs

Y'know what's kinda funny about this whole situation is that our here on the wet coast, we haven't heard word one of this, except for the initial reports.

Kinda sad that I have to learn about news near "the centre of the universe TM" from a news site bqased in California.

Why isn't the mother corp covering this? Rhetorical, of course.

I did some checking with my map program and the house I live in is 4 miles from the Grand,
well within the the 6 miles being claimed.
The owner of the house is supportive of the Indians,
saying "we" took the land from them.
When I have a clear path of retreat,
I'll mention that her house is on Indian land and she has no claim to it.
