56 raids on terrorist roaches.

Looks like we are going to flush the rats out of their holes once and for all. Keeping up the "Big Mo."
America's DemoRats are not going to like that we are actually showing we are winning in Iraq.

They've been in denial for a long time. The MSM has helped them with its constant defeatism and pessimistic propaganda designed to inflict another era of Democrat power on the American people.

Remember that soldiers only have value in the press if they DIE or 'SCREW UP' because both can be used to further anti-war/anti-military/anti-Bush/anti-American propaganda. a.k.a THE DEAD FAILURE REPORT
So the MSM will continue to lie away our success in war they believe is already lost. They will suppress the good to highlight the bad.

I'm glad he didn't have on that bomb vest he was reported to have worn all the time...it would have been horrible for guys trying to save the SOB to have been killed...

If the Dems were in charge, they'd hound the fact that they got Zarqawi into the ground, and nix any attempts to follow up on intel gleaned, and cancel any raids.
All they'd care about is using Zarqawi's death to their ends, and they wouldn't want a raid campaign that would follow to detract from their PR blitz.
To the Democrats - war is an extension of domestic politics. One reason they're so dangerous.

"56 raids on terrorist roaches."
This is fantastic news ... this is not just taking out Zarqawi, this is taking out the guts of the organization.
I hope this 'rollup' operation has a big impact at eliminating the worst terrorists.

I've said it before. Iraq is turning into another Vietnam.
Al Qaida's Vietnam.

Not giving them a chance to regroup. I like it.
Espically since Malaki is talking about a 'gloves off' crackdown by Iraqi forces in the West and South, now that all appointments are made.

You are exactly right. If this country would have had today's MSM back during WW II, we would have been speaking German and/or Japanese. They would have declared our war effort a failure about 6 months into the war.
The dying MSM still wields alot of power thanks to a good chunk of brain dead (mainly baby boomer types that were 60's rebels and their offspring) sheeple that believe every word they spew and then go vote based on it. The day the MSM loses it's influence once and for all will be a great day for America and will insure our survival as a nation.

It must feel great for the US forces and their allies to go on a major hunt. "Get some", and then come home safe with great stories to tell your grandchildren.

Fearing that insurgents will seek revenge, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki imposed driving bans in Baghdad and in restive Diyala province, where the terrorist was killed. Sounds like they are trying to freeze the bad guys in place while they go through the captured material and then raid the suspected locations. It has less to do with fear of revenge and more like good police tactics.

FYI. Busy, busy, busy. Contrary to this article, I read elsewhere this raid was developed over the past month and a half. Methinks lots of additional leads were acquired in each raid.....

"He said the latest information was helping U.S. forces unravel the source of al-Qaida's weapons and financing."
My favorite part of the article. It will be very interesting to see what they get out of the info.
