"Like most Californians, he thinks Dianne Feinstein is a great senator," Schmidt said of the governor.
Most Californians are nuts. There is NOTHING to like about Frankenfeinstein.

Hmmmph.

California Republican Party Chairman Duf Sundheim declined to comment on the governor's thoughts on the Democratic candidates, saying it's only "a theoretical thing" at this early stage of the political season.
"If there's something specific, then we'll address that at the time," Sundheim said.

it's only "a theoretical thing" ..

"Most Californians" don't even vote. But about the only way to consider Feinstein a great senator is by comparison with Barbara Boxer, who could make a head of cabbage look intelligent.

"The campaign left open the possibility that Schwarzenegger might endorse U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein in her re-election bid against Republidcan challenger Richard Mountjoy"
He has to go after his base for votes, way out leftie socialists.

I didn't bother voting Tuesday. Nothing but liberals to choose from. Wake me up and let me know when California offers a real conservative choice.

The headline isn't news. News would include his backing of (non-RINO) Republicans.

Just when you start to like Arnold, he pulls this. However when I look at the alternative I have go back to him. I guess Arnold is like your wife. Sometimes you love her and other times you are not so sure, but over all its about as good as you can get. Considering everything, Arnold is probably the only Republican that can get elected in CA.
To: Czar
I can't go that far. Angelides would accelerate the harm. But I certainly understand your feeling burned by Ahnold.

Naw, I never made a pledge to Arnold to have and to hold him yada yada... He's more like the crazy uncle that comes with the package when you marry into the GOP. :-/

"Like most Californians, he thinks Dianne Feinstein is a great senator," Schmidt said of the governor.I'm a Californian, and I don't think Feinstein is a good senator, let alone a great one.
I held my nose and voted for Schwarzenegger in the Recall, but won't vote for him this coming November. He is, for all practical purposes, a Democrat. Even the epithet "RINO" doesn't work for Schwarzenegger, because he's hardly even a Republican in name.

Is the Gubby deliberately trying to scuttle the rest of the down ticket chances? Criminy!I wouldn't be surprised, Norm. He disses Republicans every chance he gets. I genuinely don't know why this guy ever registered as a Republican, because he clearly isn't one. He's done squat to help rebuild the party in this state and seems almost embarrassed by Republicans.
