Who, really, is surprised? I'm shocked it took some Dems several hours to say such things. They're usually quicker on the draw.

The Democrats want Bush to fail in Iraq, so they are naturally disappointed that their allies, the terrorists, are being killed.

I told Rove to hold off on the Zarqawi bombing until late October.

Unfreaking real. I always thought Democrats were lower than the debris on Hell's basement floor, but I'd never thought they'd do this.

The more that America really sees what is in the heart of Democrats, the more they will continue to turn away from the democratic party. Honorable Democrats like, Truman, Humphrey. Lieberman to name three have got to be sickened by traitorous people like Fortney Stark.

Damned fine stunt, then!

I'd love to see many more of the same!

Stark - "Irag is still a mess - get out!"

Remember that prof who recently wrote an article claiming that Bush - in saying that "some people" want immediate withdrawal from Iraq - was setting up non-existent "straw men" to contrast to his "realistic" position? That prof claimed that no one in the political mainstream was demanding an immediate withdrawal from Iraq. Well, Stark shows the prof is wrong, and Stark isn't the only example.

The day Bin Laden will be served up on a platter with an apple in his mouth, the Dems will come out and say it was staged by the Republicans to make Bush look good.

These people not only have no original ideas, they have no original thoughts.

"This is just to cover Bush's [rear] so he doesn't have to answer" for Iraqi civilians being killed by the U.S. military and his own sagging poll numbers, said Rep. Pete Stark, California Democrat.

Stark (which is short for StarkRavingMad) is obviously too blinded by partisanship to realize the inherent contradiction in his statement. His implication is that Bush could have killed Zarqawi at any time, but chose to do it at exactly this moment "so he doesn't have to answer for Iraqi civilians being killed by the U.S. military and his own sagging poll numbers."

Gee, Pete, I know I'm not as smart as you are (although I'll match SAT scores with you for ten bucks a point), but if Bush could have killed Zarqawi sooner, he would have killed Zarqawi sooner, and then his poll numbers wouldn't have been sagging so much.

Bush should have outlawed and banned the dem party when he took office in 00. The party is basically a criminal organization.

Ah...yeah...it's all a trick. In fact, no one was in that house when we dropped the bomb. We actually caught and killed Zarqawi 18 years ago and had his body frozen...and we thawed it out and put it in the house after the explosion...and Morgan Fairchild is my lover.

Only the nutcases who are Democrats to begin with could come up with such drivel.

I suppose when the world finally gets Bin Laden they will all call that a stunt too.

We will have to ship his body over here, and have all these Cindy Sheehan-kooks file by the open coffin, a spread of his pictures and a report of the DNA to convince them that it was not a stunt.

Please!! Save me from these people! They actually vote too!

The Democrats are getting desperate.

Desperation always overwhelms those in denial when truth comes crashing down on their deslusional paradigm.

I think not only Zarqawi's loathsome body went up in smoke today, but so did Democratic hopes for taking over Congress in November as the Bilbray victory showed. You can see they realize that through their bitter remarks about Zarqawi's death as the rest of normal America celebtrates. Their frustration is palatable as is obvious by the deranged remarks of Pete Stark.

By the way, these are the same left wing trash who deny there's any progress in the war on terror because "Bush hasn't found Bin Laden." Yet when he does it will similarly be dismissed as a meaningless "stunt."

IIRC, "Pete" Fortnoy Stark is the supreme A-Hole who cursed out a sergeant in the military who was one of his constituents. The idiot (Stark) actually cursed the guy out on his answering machine.

He's also one of the most vile gun-grabbers in congress. The creature (he's not a man) is beneath contempt.

According to Rep. Pete Stark's website: "Due to congressional courtesy, specific responses will only be provided to residents of California's 13th District. To assure receipt of your e-mail, please provide your information below, which will confirm that you are a constituent."

Then you have to fill in your address etc.

So if he only accepts comments from his constituents, maybe he should comment only to them.

Actually I think they beat Al-Qaeda to it who I heard on the radio said the same thing. Either way, liberals/Al-Qaeda, same thing, it doesn`t matter.

Winning is a "Stunt?" What will they say when, not if, we nab Bin Laden himself?

"Doesn't Change A Thing."--said with straight face...
