You think these kids aren't going to hear this? It's been on The View, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and FNC as well as the internet and talk radio and in at least our local newspaper and probably some larger newspapers as well.
The kids would have to be under 5 or living in a bubble to NOT hear this.
In my opinion that is a good thing. The world will see, if they aren't looking through leftist colored glasses, what harpies these women are.
You don't get it Peach. You still don't get it.
Dear Peach,
I have read a bunch of your posts. You've made your point. Let it go.
By the way, you seem quite intolerant of the views of those with whom you disagree.
Cheers . . .
When Bill O'Reilly today suggested to Coulter that she made these statements about the Jersey Girls in order to sell books, Bones was spitting when she said that he had "insulted" her and that he should apologize.
Bill was just offering one possible interpretation for why she decided to write what she did.
When Ann Coulter wrote, and I quote: "And by the way, how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce" she was not lying - she was asking a question.
You are falsely accusing Coulter of lying - in other words you are lying yourself about what Coulter wrote.
So please, stop lying.
I'm in the gutter because I think Ann's comments are over the top? You'll just have to put me in the gutter with Hugh Hewitt and Laura Ingraham then, and I'll be glad to be in their company.
And I would think if Ann had evidence that those dead men were going to divorce their wives, she'd have included it in her book. Moron.
Elected Democrats couldn't possibly be standing in the way of free speech and expression now, could they?
I couldn't imagine the outcry if these twerps had a "(R)" after their names.
Saw a funny bumper sticker that said:
NEW JERSEY: Don't Worry, We Hate You Too!
LOL. that stings.
I love Anns comments. She pierced the liberal armour. She was right!. These widow millionaires sought the lime light. Ann didn't go over the top if you can really see what she meant. Libs. have had a free for all for bashing Bush and our soldiers. That was her point! She made it. She said, what our whimpy congress didn't.She is right on!
I heard her interviewed...haven't read the book yet.
What I heard her say is that "how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce them?" Not that she knew their husbands were planning to divorce them, but "how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce them?" Of course she didn't know if their husbands were or weren't.
My reaction was that Ann was pointing out that we don't know if their husbands would approve of what they're doing now against the President, or even if they had radical disagreements with the wives when they were alive. Yet the wives have now become the sole representatives of their husbands after their husbands are dead and can't say anything.
That is a defensible point by Ann, in my opinion. Howver, the way she put it was open to massive misunderstanding and misinterpretation. Perhaps she knew what she was doing in putting it that way...I don't know. But it will give the book so much publicity it will sell more, I would think.
I hope Ann's book stands up to scrutiny once the curious have bought it and actually start to read.
Oh, that's good.
And when she writes that the women are glad their husbands are dead, she's not lying.
How do I know you're not a pedophile? See how that works. Lovely, isn't it.
I'll just let you have your little thread since I can see that most of you really don't mind the gutter.
You're right, as I remember the actual divorce quote started with "For all we know..." Which, of course, makes it true.
Sell the other on Ebay. ;o)
