This is why it's a national security issue concerning our policy of wide open borders.

Even as we speak, tens of thousands of illegals from terrorist-sponsoring states are roaming the streets of America, according to a stunning new report from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General.

Not stunning at all, actually. Reports of OTMs from Islamist terrorist-sponsoring states coming across the borders in high numbers have been circulating for years now.

I heard Geraldo Rivera say on FOX News last night that, 'No Islamic terrorists have come into the U.S. from Mexico.' Just shows what Jerry Rivers knows. Next to nothing it seems.

No Islamic terrorists in the USA? And no I do not want a response. There's a limit to how much ignorant blather can be digested.

There was a Hamas member deported out of Detroit a few months back. He got his passport to MEXICO in Syria.

I am outraged by the administration's policy of delaying and minimizing the impact of information that they find "inconvenient" leaving public safety at greater risk.

Between the terrorist threat and a quarter of a million illegal alien sex offenders it's a little hard for the white house to claim security as an issue.

I remember Fox's Brit Hume trying to get Rivera to report while he was at a `Si, Se Puede!' rally last May 1st, since that is (presumably) what Fox pays him to do.
Whorealdo was too busy `cheerleading' for the crowd to do what passes for reporting. Asking for `journalistic objectivity" (if such a thing exists) from him on this issue is asking way too much. He should recuse himself whenever the issue arises.

concern about "wide open borders" is misplaced concern.
Within the immigration debate, "wide open borders" is concerned about the number of people entering. The number 12 million is used alot.

A well thought out policy would FOCUS on quality, not quantity. The millions of landscapers and busboys entering illegally are not endangering our society or freedom. So far, nobody has been able to explain precisely WHY they are a PROBLEM.

But the 38,000 (or whatever the number is) ARE endangering us. We need to focus on them. We need an immigration GOAL to eliminate/eradicate the UNDESIREABLES:
- Terrorists and suspected terrorists.
- Murderers, robbers, rapists, people who truly endanger others.
- Welfare parasites.

We then need to build an immigration policy where the time, money, manpower and resources are focused on this goal.

It could be noted that given these three goals, a low percentage of Mexicans and Asian Indians should be excluded. I'd estimate that under 5% of the millions of Mexicans are murderers, robbers, rapists, etc. Another 5% are welfare parasites. I've personally known dozens of true terrorists and thousands of Mexicans. I've never met a Mexican terrorist. I'm sure they exist (in Chiapas). But they are rare.

In contrast, a high percentage of Russian immigrants are into murder, robbery, rape and siimlar undesireable activity. A high percentage of Irish immigrants (especially the thousands of illegal Irish) are welfare parasites.

Best thing FOX could do is fire Jerry Rivers. Sooner is better than later. He is a political air head and a total jerk to boot.

The hordes of illegals roaming our country pose a great threat to our security as well as the quality of life. In my area gangs (mostly of illegals and legal immigrants) roam the area, invading homes, robbing, killing. They are easily identifiable. Yet nothing is done to round up and deport them.

Bush knows whats best for us. He wants amnesty for these Saudis. Indeed, since his amnesty is easy to fake, 1,000's more Saudis will come with faks docs showing 5 year residency.

Bush understands that a few bad apples may come, and might kill a 1,000 or 2,000 Americans, but think how many more Americans we will welcome in! It's a net gain! And think of the wage suppression and the extra 1% gain on your stocks for a few years that will mean. Even more important, those gains will amount to big bonuses, options and pay raises to top corporate officials who will in turn spend more money on politicians to increase outsourcing jobs and insourcing illegals and increase freedoms by removing oppressive, constraining, restrictive ideas such as "borders" and "patriotism." Bush knows best.

That means that more than 38,000 individuals from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen, whose identities could not be verified and who could be working for terrorist groups, are today roaming the streets of America.

And the vast majority entered through Mexico and not Canada.

The report estimated that 85% of those released aliens “will abscond,” even if deportation orders are issued. Do the math. That means that more than 38,000 individuals from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen, whose identities could not be verified and who could be working for terrorist groups, are today roaming the streets of America.

And if they’re smart – and undoubtedly, they are – they have already acquired new identities and have melted into American society.
