"What do you admire most about the Chinese?"
Their extremely cheap dental care costs and their low tech way of removing flem.
That was a little joke. Nobody's perfect.
I agree with your post. I like and admire the Chinese people....without the red star please.

Too be fair the vast majority of chinese people in the USA are here because they excelled in chinese schools before begin allowed to go overseas to continue their education.
In other words we don't see chinese blue collar types very often. This has colored our peception of them.
For example nobody that makes waves in china is allowed to immigrate without a fight. So I preceive chinese people as having an 'excessive resprect for authority' as all those I've worked with have had that problem.

I often see Occidental families with Oriental children. That would be a result of the Chicom's dictated one child per family law. It is further ironic that an American white family can more readily adopt a Chinese child than they could adopt an American black child.

Their cooking.
Especially Honey-glazed Cashew Shrimp. To die for. The pinnacle of culinary perfection.

Chinese banks have over $1 trillion in bad debts. And their pollution of water and air is so overwhelming that it's causing a health crisis.
The Chinese are every bit as capable of bad decisions as Americans are.

I admire how Chiang Kai Shek managed to turn Taiwan, an underdeveloped, primitive island into a modern bastion of capitalism and liberty.
Oh I'm sorry, but for me this is the real banner of China -
