The Democrats will say the Democratic candidate won a "moral" victory.

Yeah, right.

Absolutely. What has been rather humorous to me is how the Democrats have boasted about the president losing the support of the Conservative base.

Who says we would allow the Democrats to take over even though we disagree on a couple of issues with the president?

I certainly will vote in November and it will not be for a Democrat.

So I guess Busby couldn't get enough illegal aliens to the polls.

"President George W. Bush's Republican Party"

I didn't know that GWB owned the party.

Do you think they call it Bill Clinton's or John Kerry's Dem party.

They're spinning it as a good thing, because it was close. I kid you not, all over the radio this morning.

Bilbray won on a Get Tough On Immigration platform.

He supports building a Border fence from the Pacific to the North and wants to prevent Illegals from collecting Social Security benefits.

Anyone see a Barometer here?

From the Seattle-PI link:

"With 90 percent of precincts reporting, Bilbray had 56,130 votes, or 50 percent. Busby trailed with 51,292 votes, or 45 percent...." Can somebody PLEASE tell me when, in terms of politics, a 5% difference is considered "narrowly"? In politics, 5% is a pretty comfortable lead.

No, The RATS in the DUck room are saying the election was rigged, because the polls last week had Busby up by 10%...lol

Its those evilllll voting machines, the RATS want to go back to marking their votes on the back of a KFC box with a crayon.

"Bilbray won on a Get Tough On Immigration platform."

And he won despite the Minutemen endorsing another candidate. Hopefully they will come around in November.
