....DailyKos.com, the world's most popular political blog.

Huh. I've checked the site out a couple of times but never saw much of interest. I wonder what the source of this "most popular" claim is?

Maybe it will end up like this one.

I wonder if Ann Marie didn't give Moulitsas a Lewinsky with this article when she was done.

Never mind that Kos is driving the D's further and further to the left, leaving the sane D's essentially one choice . . .

I don't know the stats for FR visitors and posts, but find it difficult to believe Daily Kos is the most popular political web site in the world.

I wonder if there is a distinction between "political blog" and "news forum"?

We should tie that "I feel nothing - screw them" quote directly with Kerry, Dean and Reid -- all of whom have posted on Daily Kos.

ANA MARIE COX : had a long, disastrous career in mainstream media ....her poor people skills made her unpopular, while her sarcasm drove people away.

End result? She is now a columnist for TIME.
They are perfect for each other. :)

She was Wonkette, now she is a "serious" journalist and a failed novelist. She was replaced as Wonkette by a very unmasculine man named David Lat.

Disturbingly, I went to high school with Lat and I also went to college with Cox and dealt with them both personally hundreds of times.

I really, really wish there were more degrees of separation sometimes.

#14 has a graph that compares traffic between FR and Daily Kos.

I was under the impression that Alexa only recorded sites visited by those who had the Alexa task bar installed/operating.

Which would seem to me to be the sort of thing FReepers wouldn't be part of...

Am I mistaken?

He speaks in staccato paragraphs, punctuated by intense stares and a raised eyebrow. His eyes bulge slightly outward, as if reacting to the pressure of all the ideas inside his head.

I think maybe it's the most popular among lib's. But most popular among the entire population sounds like a crock.

By the way, ping we when "Kossers" actually do something, for example, chase a defeated Presidential candidate out of the Vice President's residence or expose a forgery and bring down a network news anchor.

I think Kos is a dork. Hasn't every political candidate he has endorsed lost?

Also I remember when Kos said he had a plan to take down the DNC or maybe it was DLC, whatever. Kos never revealed the plan and let the subject drop. Little Green Apples had a good time poking fun of Kos's "secret plan" so something good came from the effort.

Ann Marie Cox is Wonkette who likes to write about anal sex on her internet blog. I'll let you draw your own conclusions about that.
