It's a pdf document, you either have to open in with acrobat reader (free) or save it and open it off line with acrobat reader.

That wouldn't explain the cigarette butts I still see littered all over the place.

It took me a while, going through the website to find it, but I finally did. I have no idea why I couldn't open it directly from your link.

The fact they rely on an editorial from Stanton Glantz leaves me quite sceptical of the information, as does the fact they state nothing to back up the contention that there is no siginifcant elevation from eating fruits of the nightshade family. There is no significant elevation of risk for anything from SHS exposure in healthy people, yet it is shouted from the rooftops that such exposure is a killer.

Additionally, all other references are related to SHS exposure for asthmatics, I know of no one who will not agree that such exposure could trigger an asthma attack in asthmatics.

And finally, even going with their contention consumption of eggplant or tomatoes will not raise the levels significantly, they show nothing in the way of seperating that nicotine from that of SHS exposure. Thus it says nothing other than the conclusion they were paid to find.

That's my man, Kolchak.
I'd say I got a lot in common with him.
Hunting down unbelievable creatures where ever they may be found. Carl would have a field day on the FR these days. But, don't worry RAYMAN!!!!!!!! We all still loves you very much!!!!!!!!!!!

Browsing is to grazing what long pants are to knickers.

I've often thought that the nation's addicts and perverts could all be rounded up if the cops would stake out the candy aisle. People in there are either looking for a fix or bait.

Just getting around to finishing this thread.

I enjoyed your link, especially the following sentence---

"Agenda-driven scientists can choose the facts they want and present them in a certain way, send out press releases, and let the media take it from there."

Smokers have been aware of this fact for years.

'Additionally, all other references are related to SHS exposure for asthmatics, I know of no one who will not agree that such exposure could trigger an asthma attack in asthmatics. "

The young Teddy Roosevelt, who had the best doctors money can buy, was given cigars to smoke when he had an asthma attack. He outgrew it.

I was a severe astmhatic and started smoking at 18,three years later,no ashtma. It has never returned 50 years later.

Smoking is way down, asthma is way up. Think about it!

I love being addicted, so what if my bones are a little fragile. I'm doing what I love.

George Burns started to show slight signs of weakening bones at age 97. He smoked cigars, so there you have it... the stuff weakens bones.

Might have something to do with the removal of ashtrays.

I mostly see the carpet of butts in parking lots, and cars have ashtrays. My favorite is seeing a smoker dump their car ashtray on the road at a stop light. Lovely.

Now you've gone and made it personal; if litter concerns you so greatly, clean it up and go on.
