A moat.

A moat is good. It just needs to be longer.

Needs some gators too.

So Mexico expects their invaders to respect their environment when they don't respect ours?

Mexico is creating an environmental reserve about 30 feet wide and 600 miles long on the Texas border, a "green wall" to protect the Rio Grande from the roads and staging areas that smugglers use to ferry drugs and migrants across the frontier.

Those illegal alien gardeners will make short work of it.

"This stretch of border is the safest one we have. It's safe because it has wilderness on both sides,"

Hahahahahahahaha! A 30' green wall is going to stop anyone? My livingroom is wider than 30'.

Needs some gators too.

I recommend getting breeding stock from the current crop of Florida gators... healthy appetites :)

To keep roads from being built, I guess.

"...about 30 feet wide ...generally too rough to hike through unless you're a black bear or a pronghorn sheep." 30 feet? 10 yards?

Thirty meters might be a minumum so long as it's kept "natural" although, clearly, 30 km might have been a lot more practical...

Mojave Rattlesnakes every 5 feet will do the trick. Most toxic venom of any rattler in North America (0.05 mg/kg fatal dose).

Now we won't be able to see them.

This would only keep those who respect plant life from building roads. The roads they are concerned about were made by smugglers traffic, no way do they think this will keep smugglers from making roads and crossing the border. They must think we all have stupid tatooed on our foreheads- if we fall for this we need to get those tatoos.

Most of these people don't respect the laws of an entire country. I doubt they're going to worry about a few park rangers.
