New tagline?
MSM: A CULTURE OF TREASON!
A friend of mine who is a Nam Vet was just saying today, that if we had the same press in WWII as we do now, the debate would have been when to pull out of Europe because we can't take any more casualties and why were we fighting Germnany when we were attacked by Japan.......
Need I add that our major language might be German or Japanese as well?

They may be well said comments, but they are irrelevant to the comparison of the greatness of President Bush relative to President Reagan.
EV is WAAAY off base here.........and if he's honest with himself, he'll admit it.
Greatness has absolutely nothing to do with being a smooth talker.

You are completely nuts. He has gotten so much done it is breathtaking. Read that West Point speech, if you don't realize it. That is the real reason for his poll numbers. He has done so much, people want him to do everything they ever thought of. Heck, they've even reduced homeless by 30%! You forgot your sarcasm tag...

???? I'm sure that means something to you, but it has absolutely NOTHING to do with what I said to you.
You are bringing up the trivial, and it has absolutely nothing to do with the greatness of either man.

Sorry you didn't get it.
The point is that the entire premise of this piece is foolishness.
Read the verse again.

Except TEFRA. He got hoodwinked on that one.
GWB will go down in history as a foreign policy hero (except maybe where Israel is concerned) by that could be cancelled out by the Mexican time-bomb currently set to go off in a generation. If we end up looking like france with a huge underclass of restless Mexicans, it will be trouble.

EV is WAAAY off base here.........and if he's honest with himself, he'll admit it. No I'm not.
I've watched the Bush political team favor RINOs and RINO policies for the last six years. They've made it a point to attack conservatives and to try to marginalize them. I'm sick of it.
Ronald Reagan didn't do that. He actively raised up a whole new generation of conservative leaders...which is why George W. Bush was ever even President.
In their ingratitude, Karl Rove and company continue to dismantle the powerful GOP coalition with both hands.

I don't think Reagan leaving Lebanon had anything to do with the growth of Al Queda.bin Laden, himself, pointed to Reagan's pullout in Lebanon, as well as Clinton's pullout in Somalia, as a sign that America would not fight.
Bush disregards sound military advice, unless you consider Rumsfeld one of the great ground commanders in history. He also lacks the will to prosecute a war. Fallujah should have been leveled by artillery. Bush will go down in history just like LBJ. A free-spending Texan, who fought an unpopular war according to his own concept, while setting the stage for runaway inflation ten years down the road.
This is preposterous. Bush allows the MILITARY to fight the war. He trusts the men on the ground. As to will, had this been Reagan, or Clinton, our troops would be out by now, and Iraq would be in complete and total chaos.
Your economic ignorance is astounding as well, as there is no evidence that inflation will ever to return to the extent it did under Jimmy Carter, who had no deficit.
Reagan did intimidate the Soviets, but it was George H.W. Bush who sent in the ground troops in 1991. One wonders if Reagan, after Lebanon, would have had the will to do it.

Is this guy nuts? The next Reagan? Reagan was one of the top 5 Presidents of all time. Please don't insult my intelligence by placing Bush in that same class. He's marginal at best - better than Clinton and Bush 1, worse than Reagan and Coolidge.

If you really listen to President Bush, he DOES communicate with the people...
Unfortunately, so many people listen with the goal of picking him apart...rather than listen to what he has to actually say...
Also..the media is pretty complicit in that problem, because they seem to have a HUGH disregard for his speeches and town hall type meetings..
It is darn near impossible to see them...
