Have the protesters protested the Mexican military's own border crossings into the US? Or are they A-OK with all things Mexican?

They are against the US. The US military. The US sovereignty. The US citizens.

But we had quality people

Well, there you go. If you can't get quantity...go for quality. :)

"“You're always disappointed when you don't get a million people for a protest. But we had quality people,” she said. "

Mexican drug dealers and rapists are "quality people"?
Who knew?

Only the elite invading criminals.

It's always the Leftists at these events who resort to physical intimidation and violence. Maybe we should start calling the Democratic party the Party of Peace.

Especially emotions such as anger, contempt, and bewilderment when presenred with a logical thought.

'Taint a buzzard. It's an eagle perched on a cactus eating a snake. Never been quite sure of the symbolism.

"Racists, go home!" the protesters chanted."

They're not racists, and they ARE home. I could scream from frustration.

I dare these protesters to shout "racists, go home" at our National Guard. Then, I pray it's caught on camera and shown on the Nightly News. Some people could use another wake up call.

Oh, I'm well aware of what it is and what it stands for. I prefer to call it a buzzard, however, given the fact that it should not be flying in this country.

It's actually from an Aztec legend wherein the gods commanded the nomadic natives to build their capital city where they spotted an eagle eating a serpent upon a cactus-surrounded by a lake. This is where they build Tenochtitlan--now the site of Mexico City.

The rally also drew a counterprotest by members of the Minuteman Project, the controversial citizen border patrol, who clustered along Camino de la Plaza, an avenue bordering the park. The two groups took verbal jabs at each other throughout the afternoon.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Why is the Minutemen Project called "controversial" and the other group left unlabeled? (Of course I know the answer, but this garden-variety press bias just bugs the hell out of me.)

So THAT'S what an eagle-eating-a-snake thing means. But wasn't the point of building a city to stay put and stop being nomads?

That little slip also tells me which side the guy who was arrested was from.

No doubt it would have been trumpeted if it was a Minuteman.

A man dressed in a Ku Klux Klan outfit showed up on the Minutemen side,

I've got 10 bucks that says this guy was a plant from the illegal's camp.

You call the National Guard for a state of emergency, not this,” said Ajamu Edmonson, a community activist from San Diego. “It's a last resort.”

I'd say we are getting close to our last resort.
