PING!
The Religon of Satan marches on...
But, but, but..!!!!!!
I thought that the Canadiens were all sensitive and liberal and therefore were immune to the naughty terrorists.
Just goes to show that they have too hard of a time attacking targets in the US, so they go to a softer target zone.
Well, it might be something; on the other hand, it might be a CYA move after "...Sun columnist Joe Warmington wrote about two men spotted filming the subway system...."
Wait and see, I guess.
Still no mention in the article that they were islamofascist terrorists. (Bias? WHAT bias?)
The Canadian NSA equivalent
Wonder if there's any connection to the one in London?
I note that when I search for "Toronto donut shop explosion", all the top hits have headlines along the lines of
"Deadly blast in doughnut shop not a terrorist job: police"

"Nothing to see here, move along."
This raid and the London raid seemed to have been spurred on by very near term potential attacks. This article states as early as Monday the Canuck jihadists planned to attack, and if the Brit's are right there is a missing Chem weapons belt that was to be used as early as the next few days-- the next week might have been interesting. And will probably still be with the World Cup starting.
I would feel a little better if the Yanks would drop a raid or two this weekend prior to the beginning of next week.
Acronyms: RCMP - Royal Canadian Mounted Police. CSIS - Canadian Security Intelligence Service. GTA - Greater Toronto Area?
Well I hope that CSIS wasn't monitoring any phone calls prior to the bust.
now about that security on the Canadian/American border...
Acronyms: you're correct 3 for 3 !

*3 April 2006: Investigation conducted by the Northeast Intelligence Network into the explosion and fire at a Tim Hortons Coffee shop in Toronto that occurred at approximately 1:00 pm yesterday has provided some information not made public by authorities. The specific information obtained by Northeast Intelligence Network investigators located in Canada and New York casts doubt on the official explanation of the events provided by Toronto Police that the fire and explosion was caused by gasoline, and the dead man was intent on either committing suicide or causing arson to the facility. Contrary to the official explanation, there is a strong indication that the explosive substance TATP (triacetone triperoxide), also known as the Mother of Satan and a homemade and very unstable explosive was used in this blast. This is the same substance used by "the despondent" Joel Henry Hinnrichs outside of the Oklahoma University stadium on October 1, 2005 - a blast that was ruled as a "suicide" and unrelated to terrorism. **MORE**
Great, thanks.
