Personally, I think Gingrich may be the best hope the GOP has right now.

Can we repeal McCain and Feingold as well? It's a bizarro universe when the next President could be a Republican so benighted that he thought sticking a knife into free political speech was a good thing to do.

The highest bidders have been buying seats in our government for a long time. It is a top down system now, not a bottom up system which is what it should be.

Repeal McCain-Feingold! Abolish the FEC! Stomp McCain, Feingold, et al.

Hi, Mom.
After all, the primaries are about getting the conservative base of the party to vote for you. That won't happen. Why? Because we are the conservative base and we say, "No, no, no!"

"It's a bizarro universe when the next President could be a Republican so benighted that he thought sticking a knife into free political speech was a good thing to do."Who do you think signed it into law? Signed it right after he said he thought it was unConstitutional. I guess he forgot about that oath of office where he swore (on the Holy Bible) to Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

See, there's two no votes already. And it looks like there's more on the thread. His chances aren't good. We're not that forgetful.

He's from my home state. I do not care how brilliant Newt might be. I would not count on him due to his lack of integrity.

I have to ask..Do we have ANYONE that is more conservative than Newt? On my conservative dial he's an 8, Bush a 5.2. He'd have my vote unless we could identify someone who is headbangingly more to the right.
