You are reacting as Americans
should react. Americans who are reacting to the huge numbers of people breaking our laws by coming to this illegally are perfectly entitled to their outrage. However, the debate is incorrectly focused on
THEM, and not the source of the problem. And this is where conservatives will win this debate. The actions of the corrupt ruling families and the incompetent and corrupt government has impoverished millions of Mexicans. Mexico has abundant natural resources and it could, if it wished, expand its job base and make it possible for Mexicans to make a better living and provide for their families. But that won't happen because of the greed and indifference of Mexico's "haves" vs their "have nots." It is readily apparent that millions of Mexicans are willing to work. But they
CAN'T - because Mexico won't let them!
Conservatives will win this debate by correctly pointing out the true source and cause of the problem. And it's not Americans, it's Mexicans!
We need to heed the desires of our own citizens on this matter and secure the border, and eforce the laws! Our politicians need to insist that Mexico "be a good neighbor" and start solving this problem.

Congress isn't where our problems are eminating from! Look at the BS crap coming from the criminal, corrupt, seditionist, treasonous White House and our US Senate for the roots to mess.First, the U.S. Senate IS the Congress -- more specifically, one house of the Congress.
Second, there is nothing criminal, corrupt, seditionist and/or treasonous about "the White House." Hysterical nonsense such as this merely discredits you.

Well you know, being a "nativist" is akin to being in the KKK, according to our government. The only ones allowed to be racists legally are the NAACP, LaRaza, etc. The government actually helps them by giving them money.

Screaming a lie over and over does not magically turn it into a fact. If WP want to pose as this great moralizer chasitgating the evil ones for flaming him, he should at LEAST try to be intellectually honest. This is a "Do as I say, not as a do" rant. Apprenly Name calling is wrong but LYING is just fine in WP's world. Simple rule, DON'T shoot at people if you are not ready for them to shoot back. WP is just upset because people don't role over and play dead for him. Too badchasitgating?

Right, Wolfstar. I used to go to Kos-land to read reactionary silliness, but that isn't necessary anymore, I can see it at FR every day now.</p>

"That's too easy, you guys, give us a tough choice, like Charles Manson against Hillary."
We had that last week, and "third party" beat out John McCain by 3 or 4%, with Hillary bringing up the rear, after "sit it out."

Only a few days ago, anyone who wanted the president to enforce the law protecting the nation's borders was "a racist," "a bigot" or a "nativist." The president himself has sometimes thrown the word "nativist" around in the debate over immigration and, before that, in the controversy over outsourcing the security of the nation's ports to suspicious former enemies. "Nativist," like "Hitler," is the slur of the season when you're losing the argument. The president has become more compassionate, having decided that the nativists are merely misguided conservatives in what was once his base. Pretty much nails it.
BTW, this yahoo no longer considers herself one of the President's "base" members. I am a part of the conservative base, not the GOP's, and they had better learn the distinction.

I share your thoughts/concerns about Allen. I like most of what I have heard about him. But there were some times recently that I have seen him get caught flat footed. Wish I could remember what it was. Maybe it was about the Ports deal.
