"by them acting to support Gore it will make sHillary look like the "comeback kid" so transparent..."

It is amazing how many Freepers and conservative talk show hosts are buying this transparent charade.

I love it that the media seems to be dumping hillary but on a larger note, doesn't it p*ss you off that the media is choosing ANY candidate on either side? They are making news rather than reporting it.

Who are YOU to question the Media's Infernal Mandate to rule the country?

Why, you are probably one of those people who denied President Gore his promised birthright, too!

I agree, this is just so brazen and transparant that, G-d willing, Joe Sixpak will even pick it up and realize what has been going on.

My Great Awakening was in the elections of 2000, when that filty POS Brokaw (Rot in Hell) blurted out "We got another one!" as a state went Democrat.

To me, it was a declaration of War.

Last time, the Media phenomenon of creating "Another JFK from Massachusetts" was as outrageous to me as Caligula making his horse, Incitatus, a full Proconsul of Rome. Why, they even LOOKED alike!

I agree, the next two years you will see the press do more to try and elect a candidate than they've ever done before. This is saying alot considering what they've done in the past; Slick Willy (Anita Broderick), Gore (trash Bush), or Kerry (Swift Boats).

My husband and I both think that Bubba will sabotage her campaign for exactly the reason you state.
As much as I think he would love to be back on Air Force One, being Hil's 1st Man is not his cup of tea.Can you just imagine if her "legacy" were greater than his? His ego couldn't stand it. I think he'll appear to stand by his gal but he'll pull some stunt to make sure she doesn't get the nomination.

So far I think all the recent noise about Al Gore is just sound and fury signifying nothing...I can't see him defeating Hillary for the nomination if it comes down to those two. The Left is unhappy with Hillary because of her occasional moderate rhetoric which they should realize is just a sham to fool voters--she's as much a hard-line leftist as any of them.

2008 is indeed her best chance, and even if she loses, she still has the Senate seat, and control of the party for the next four years.

I'd say that ALgore better watch his back, except for one fact. If he was half-smart, he made copious notes as to all the corruption going on in the Arkansas Mafia couple's dealings during their eight years in the White House. Hillary might be the black mailee, instead of the usual black mailer. in that case. Somebody start the popcorn for'07. This will be interesting to watch.

I didn't see Brokejaw say that but I do remember Rita Cosby jumping for joy (prematurely) when she thought Bush lost. I have hated dear Rita ever since and what ever is happening to her voice?

Dems will run the candidate they think has the best chance of winning. Their VP candidate will be the person who demonstrates the highest probability of election success. Their policy will be shaped by issues which give them the best chance of defeating a GOP candidate. If Hillary cannot clearly demonstrate she has the winning formula she is toast. One more thing, hatred is a very powerful motivating force, so don't expect their party discipline to break. If Gore wants them to drink environmental Kool Aid they will if they think it helps them win.

Sometimes I honestly believe media with an agenda is a far bigger danger and enemy of this country than immigrants, Al Quida or anyone else.

Bingo!

The only problem with this scenario are the Hildebeast's negative poll #'s with independents and her problems with the moonbats who have an exponentially larger say in the primaries. If the string pullers who torpedoed Dean in '04 decide that the Hildebeast is too negatively viewed by a majority of undecideds, then we could see Algore slide right in. Conversely, if Al is perceived as being too left, the same could be said of H.

The one great positive in all scenarios is that Algore will have the effect of forcing the Hildebeast to the left to placate the moonbats.

I agree she has been taking a beating lately, which I find surprising. I'll bet she's a little surprised that the peasants are revolting too, ha ha ha.

I am still very worried about her chances to win. I don't want to be a quibbler, but she's had those negatives for quite awhile and it never stopped the press from hyping her in 2008. Also, it is a long way from 2008 primaries, plenty of time for the media to kiss and make up.

Just think, if Iraq progresses as we should hope it does, the press will be lauding her to high heaven for showing the strength to take the hard hits.

I also think the chance to elect the first female president will be a strong motivational force for women, including in particular independent women, which could provide her with the margin to win the 2008 general election

Yes, I suppose you lose a bit of the emphasis when you type, "That's just my $.02." as opposed to using this (my gift to you):

Bill's health is going to decline during Hillary!'s candidacy, with a "crisis" when and if Hillary!'s poll numbers need it.
Bill better behave or he might not survive the "crisis."
