My dad rode a camel once and said it felt like it was about to do a forward roll with every stride. He said it gave him very close to vertigo-sea sickness type feeling in the pit of his stomach. He was a cowboy (real one) and spent most of his life on a horse but said camel riding was an experience he could do without.

Nice looking camel! Not foaming and drooling at the mouth.

The story is that someone tied themself to an ornery male camel, and the camel went off into the desert. It rolled over killing the guy, and his bones were carried around on the back of the lone camel for several years.
