Once they have the info that you committed the tax fraud they will invent the evidence to catch you.

"They" is not the same as "they."

If you're leaving bread crumbs to your crime everywhere, then you deserve to get nabbed.

But if the defene lawyer could prove reasonable doubt that the only way govt could have found this was through invasive snooping, then no jury of 12 would convict you, guilty as you may be.

During Friday's meeting, Justice Department officials passed around pixellated (that is, slightly obscured) photographs of child pornography to emphasize the lurid nature of the crimes police are trying to prevent, according to one source.

The possession and distribution of child pornography is illegal (even if it's "slightly obscured" but still clearly kiddie porn). The narrowly carved exception to the laws that allows police to possess and display illegal materials for purposes of criminal prosecution is not applicable to this case.

If this description is correct, Alberto Gonzales is as guilty as the sleazebag operator of a kiddie-porn peep show.
